    You don’t know me, but I have been a huge F1 fan since the mid 80s. Yes I’m old lol. I was super excited to see that you bought a parcel ownership in the Denver Broncos. I saw you on TV. I know you’re close. I am up in Fort Collins, which is about an hour north of Denver. Would love to chat with you about F1. Take or let you drive my Porsche, which is not a Ferrari, but it’s as close as I can afford. I have watched and followed your career with McLaren and Mercedes and finally wirh Ferrari, which I fully endorse and hope you will succeed at next season. Just wanted to say hi.     I would like to make Lewis aware of my brother in law’s auto memorabilia museum based at Rochester airport in Kent. We believe it may be the most comprehensive and finest museum of its kind in the country! ( no exageration).
    The owner of the museum is Trevor Hoare who has been an avid collector for the last 25 years and has some truly amazing items in the collection reflecting the automotive industry – we believe it surpasses the National Motor museum collection but, unfortunately, is widely unknown
    I wanted to make contact with Lewis, aware that Rochester will be familiar to him, to see if he would be interested in the museum and would perhaps consider a visit? Trevor is not after fame or fortune but would just like to share his passion and collection with like minded enthusiasts.

  8. Hey Lewis or maybe I should call you Sir Lewis.
    My husband of 26 years was a massive fan of yours. He had many passions one being me of course and the other was racing.. whether it be go karting, watching F1 or gaming on his rig. I have to admit he was pretty good and he wished he’d had the chance to race you whemnyou game. Mainly to see if he could keep up or just to see dust lol.
    Recently he lost his battle to cancer. He was 51. Died 6/13/25.
    I don’t know if you will read this in time or at all. But I wondered if you would sign something so I could put it in his coffin. I know this request maybe strange but it would mean so much. We want to put the things he liked/enjoyed/loved in it so when he’s finally at rest he is surrounded by them.
    If this is something you would consider.

    As a 13 year old Singaporean F1 fan since 2022, I have been greatly inspired by you on and off track. From your brilliant races such as this year’s Shanghai sprint and Silverstone last year to your off track ventures such as fighting against racism and your relationship with your beloved dog Roscoe (as a dog owner myself) , I have developed a strong passion for you. In fact, I watch all of your races despite most of them being held late in the night or early in the morning in Singapore time. Remember that no matter how challenging this year might be, I’ll always support you and proudly cheer for you on and off track. There’s always a storm before a rainbow, and I am certain that you will succeed eventually and bring back title glory to Ferrari despite your current struggles. As you say, “Still I rise.” I have full faith that you will win your 8th world championship soon.

    He has been following Formula 1 for his entire life and is the number one fan of Ferrari. Last year, we were able to take him to Monza, which was an unforgettable experience for him. Unfortunately, due to his health, we weren’t able to do the same this year.

    About this last race on the US.

    I still don’t like how your eng. is doing your pit strategy. You were passing Lecrerc when he went in to pitbox. But how is it that when you went to pitnox you were 10sec behind him… that for me is deliberate from Ferrari. If they had sent you to pitbox 2 to 3 laps after Lecrerc pitted, and put in the hard tires (which by the way was working great for you the whole weekend with this high temperatures of track) you would have been behind Lecrerc 2 seconds. And with hard tires by the end of the race (the hard tires would had worked a lot better to fight for podium) you would definitely had a chance for podium 3rd place, if not even had fought for 2nd place with Norris.

    But no…. they waited so long to send you to pitbox and they new you would come 10 sec behind any chance of podium.

    Don’t know if it’s Ferrari or the engineer that is deliberately doing this to you. It pisses me off.

    Hope they can do better for your strategy in the future.

    Both Jan and myself want to say however very sorry we both were when we heard the very sad about Roscoe.

    We both know how terribly hard it is to say goodbye to our dogs and cats.

    Roscoe had a great life with you and the unconditional love all our pets give us is very special.

    We found a poem called ‘Rainbow Bridge’ which gave us comfort in the past and we hope it also gives you some comfort as well so I’ve attached a copy which I hope reaches you.

    Just this side of heaven is a place called Rainbow Bridge.

    When an animal dies that has been especially close to someone here, that pet goes to Rainbow Bridge.

    There are meadows and hills for all of our special friends so they can run and play together. There is plenty of food, water and sunshine, and our friends are warm and comfortable.

    All the animals who had been ill and old are restored to health and vigour. Those who were hurt or maimed are made whole and strong again, just as we remember them in our dreams of days and times gone by.

    The animals are happy and content, except for one small thing; they each miss someone very special to them, who had to be left behind. They all run and play together, but the day comes when one suddenly stops and looks into the distance. Her bright eyes are intent. Her eager body quivers.

    Suddenly she begins to run from the group, flying over the green grass, her legs carrying her faster and faster.

    You have been spotted, and when you and your special friend finally meet, you cling together in joyous reunion, never to be parted again. The happy kisses rain upon your face; your hands again caress the beloved head, and you look once more into the trusting eyes of your pet, so long gone from your life but never absent from your heart.

    Then you cross Rainbow Bridge together….

Hace 1 año perdí al mío y se me fue en mis brazos sin parar de hablarle, acariciarle y agradecerle el tiempo que pasamos juntos y la vida tan buena que nos dimos juntos.     Hi Lewis, I lost my cocker spaniel too, on August 28th. He also died in my arms. I truly understand what you’re going through right now, because I’m living it myself.
    I feel lost. I miss him with every breath. I feel empty, as if everything else in life has lost its meaning without him by my side.

    Now I understand that he was 100% of my joy, just by existing.
    We wish we could turn back time. We feel guilty for not realizing sooner what was happening, guilty for not having done more, for not having treated him in the best way possible.
    But unfortunately, dogs live short lives — far too short — yet they leave us with a legacy of love, respect, and joy that we must carry with us always.
    Dogs are a gift to us.

    I’m not writing to Lewis the F1 champion, but to Lewis the man. And seeing how you acted — stepping away from “work” because of the pain — I understand that the real Lewis is a special person. That’s the side of the champion worth admiring.

    I’ll leave you with a quote I once read, I can’t remember where, but it made me reflect and become a better human for my Rudy:
    “Remember: in our lifetime, we may have many dogs. But in THEIR lifetime, you are their only one.”

    I’m sure that for Roscoe, you were the one and only special person.

    We are delighted to inform you that the International Astronomical Union (IAU) has followed our suggestion, and has officially named asteroid (508440) 2016 LH7 as “Lewishamilton” in your honour.

    The official citation reads:

    Lewis Carl Davidson Hamilton (b. 1985) is a British-Grenadian Formula One driver and seven-time world champion. Beyond racing, he is a prominent advocate for diversity in motorsport, campaigns against racism, and supports children’s rights through his long-standing partnership with the United Nations Children’s Fund.

It’s been a constant presence in my life, sometimes quietly in the background, and other times, the very thing that kept me going. Watching you race has brought me inspiration, excitement, and comfort. For me, Formula 1 is more than just a sport, it’s connection, emotion, and meaning.
    My biggest dream is to attend the Abu Dhabi Grand Prix with my sister. More than anything, I would love the chance to experience the paddock just once in my life.
    I understand that opportunities like this are rare, and that people like me without a platform, sponsorship, or large following aren’t usually the ones who get considered. But I do have heart, and a deep love for the sport. Seeing how generously you’ve connected with fans in the past gave me the courage to share my dream with you.

Styria is currently going through dark times. On 10 June 2025, there was an incident at a school in the provincial capital in which 11 people died and many more were injured.

  79. Not a believer at first! But man, I was so wrong.

    Lewis, in all honesty, I didn’t like the fact that you showed up in 2007 and immediately started taking podiums and wins. I will admit that I did somewhat feel relieved when you beached the car in 2007 chinese grand prix pit entry. But over the subsequent races and years, you have proved me wrong in so many ways that I cannot even fathom. I remember the brazilian GP podium in 2007 when Kimi finished first and won his first championship. I saw that evil and fake frustration of Alonso while my heart sank for you. I very well know how much you deserved that title just as much as Kimi did.

    Not trying to sing your praise for any personal benefit here but you have the skills to drive a car on 3 wheels like 2020 British GP or overtake all 19 cars and take the win like 2021 brazilian GP. I stopped watching races after after 2021 Abu dhabi for a whole year. I have entirely skipped that episode from Drive to Survive to this day as I cannot relive that moment. Couldn’t for a moment fathom that someone could manipulate the results for drama and truly dent your stride the way it did.

    I remember so many of your amazing drives like the 2010 Turkish GP against button and again in 2021, Portugese GP overtakes in 2021, etc. Us fans need to see them again where we feel the thrills and admire your skills.

    One thing I can tell you is that, I still believe in your skills. If there is one person who can fight out of any adversity is you. It was hard to see you being frustrated and talk to Bono/Adami the way I have seen you in recent times. Please know that there is no one on the track today that can make things work the way you do. We need that Lewis back. Because it is you who gives hope to so many people, motivate them and truly follow their dream. We wish you the best of luck and that 8th is long overdue.

  81. I have a brother in law, his name is Richard, he is 59 years old and he is a lifelong die hard F1 fan and more specifically a Lewis Hamilton fan, he used to go to every silverstone Grand Prix. He was diagnosed with prostate cancer in march 2024 which he has battled fiercely ever since, he has continued to work tirelessly between chemo and radiation never missing a day save for when he has treatment days, even when wheelchair bound. He is now unfortunately in hospital where they have advised him that this is the end of road and his treatment has not worked in the way they hoped, the cancer has spread and is now in most areas of his body, his lungs are covered in lesions now and his spine has collapsed in one area. I was just wondering if there was anyway he could get an autograph from Lewis just to try and put a smile on his face. I do apologise if this email is wildly inappropriate to send direct, I’m just a sister in law desperately trying her best to come up with ways to lift his spirits.     Driving Ukraine is the brainchild of Fynn Watt. Every nine minutes an emergency evacuation, of a wounded person in Ukraine, is attempted. These attempts are only possible with the dedication of organisations of Driving Ukraine.

    Please find below details of a “once in a lifetime” collaboration. Driving Ukraine will be at Silverstone F1 racetrack on Wednesday 22 January.

    At Driving Ukraine we would welcome any coverage you could provide for the cause.

    In a remarkable show of solidarity and humanitarian effort, Driving Ukraine are embarking on another significant journey to support Ukraine amidst ongoing conflict. They will first be completing a parade lap around the historic Silverstone Circuit on January 22nd and the next day driving over a thousand miles to deliver the life-saving vehicles. The convoy arises as the second mission started by Ventures Together, a London based venture capital firm. The convoy boasts CEO’s such as Eugene Tsyrklevich, founder and CEO of Parkopedia, Tom Hunt, founder & CEO of Fame podcasts and Dan Bowyer, Partner at SuperSeed VC.
    The team are taking on a three-day, 1,318-mile drive across Europe, aiming to deliver an evacuation vehicle that will go directly to the Ukrainian frontline. The convoy is set to be 12 vehicles and 28 volunteers transporting around £250,000 worth of aid and vehicles to Ukraine.
    In an impressive show of support Driving Ukraine have partnered with the legendary Silverstone Circuit to complete a parade lap around the historic Formula 1 racetrack. Fynn Watt, Driving Ukraine’s founder, said “Alongside the BRDC, the owners of the circuit, whose members and ex chair, Stuart Rolt, have generously responded to the requests for financial support and aid in Ukraine, we were able to secure this. More than anything we all want to show Ukraine and the Ukrainian people that we are behind them, from individuals to historic organisations”.
    The invasion of Ukraine, now nearing its three-year mark, has seen Driving Ukraine rise to the challenge, providing over 150 vehicles for frontline efforts since the war began and raising more than £1 Million. They are always encouraging people to join them in driving, fundraising and donating vehicles. Driving Ukraine are detailed further on their website, www.DrivingUkraine.org.
    28 volunteer drivers, motivated by a deep-seated desire to contribute, are now part of this crucial initiative. In addition to their journey, they are all fundraising to purchase and donate their vehicle along with a drone jammer to protect the vehicle from kamikaze drones. This fundraising effort will cover the cost of transporting the vehicle from Oxfordshire, England, to Lviv, Ukraine, and further to the Eastern Ukrainian frontline. The funds will also support vehicle modifications necessary for frontline conditions, including Mud Terrain tyres and a camouflage paint job.
    Jacob Simpson, Driving Ukraine’s Operations Coordinator, said: “This upcoming mission is dedicated to delivering aid and vehicles directly to the Ukrainian frontline, where they will fulfil roles with first response and evacuation support teams. The work of our volunteer drivers here is what ensures thousands of young Ukrainians can return home. I have never been on anyone’s Fan page in my life of nearly 55 years but I decided to do this after reading that you said you’re slow after the sprint yesterday. I hope you didn’t say that and that it’s fake news because I know you don’t loose speed. I’m still as fast as when I was 18 or 25 but I’m faster now because I don’t make silly mistakes I used to make as I have learnt from those mistakes. If you did say that then it would seem that you have given up which is the wrong mindset You are most likely better than ever but the issues with the car whatever the cause(s) have messed with your mind and created doubt which if you don’t deal with will only increase. I encourage you to look at the psychological aspects of things if you haven’t done so already as everyone with a bit of knowledge today knows the majority of the battle can be in the mind. Especially when people you are fighting against know you’re almost unbeatable if given a level playing field. So don’t give up.     What happens to you actually is quite unique. And I think that it’s due to your departure to Ferrari. With your arrival, Ferrari will gain a lot of money while Mercedes will lose its best champion. To avoid this, Mercedes is trying to show you as an older driver, unable to win. Mercedes tried quickly to sign with Max Verstappen in order to have an attractive financial image and to stop losing money. But they did not succeed yet. They will try again to engage Verstappen.
    For you, two ways to choose : You stay with Mercedes and your frustration will continue. But you will still drive, train and maintain your fit for the next season. Or you quit Mercedes right now and go to Ferrari right now in order to prepare for next season and learn a lot with techniciens on Ferrari’s car.
    This way might be to study with the rules of your contract.

    Adam is Lewis Hamilton’s number 1 fan and I mean it when I say this. He follows Lewis on his racing journey travelling all round the world to support his Idol. He has also collected every single mini helmet which takes pride of place on shelving in a room solely dedicated to all his Lewis Hamilton memorabilia.

    Adam also has every Mercedes F1 cap from his favourite F1 driver . He has just paid hundreds for a card where there is only 1-1 printed of Lewis.

    I really do mean this when I say he is Lewis’ biggest supporter. I would really appreciate from the bottom of my heart if Lewis could so kindly record my brother Adam a message just wishing Adam a very happy 30th birthday. He has had a really tough life, yet he is the most selfless person I know.

  148. Hello 8X WDC Lewis (and I do mean 8X),

    I just wish to give you a positive thought to fall back on during this difficult season in which, by all appearances, your efforts are being undermined by your own team (especially in qualifying during which the pace of your car often mysteriously diminishes). And this despite the fact that you had the decency to inform Merc of your impending move to Ferrari so early. You thus have graciously allowed them the opportunity to have their pick of a replacement driver while all potential replacement drivers are still available (that is, before the silly season when a desired driver may have already committed to another team). Yet there seems to be little appreciation of this from Merc or the fact that you have stayed with Merc for a longer period than any driver in F1 history has stayed with a particular team. You could have kept your signing with Ferrari a secret and not disclosed it until the season ended, thus ensuring the full backing, support and access to meetings from Merc for the entire season—things that could be (and apparently have been) jeopardized by an early, in-season disclosure. Instead, out of respect and appreciation for the team with whom you have achieved so much together, you chose to do the decent and honorable thing by your early disclosure, despite the accompanying specter of diminished in-team support. That’s true class and it’s not lost among your many fans.

    Having now entered the final stage of your F1 career you have a limited number of years left (of which the last 2-plus years have been lost with a hopelessly uncompetitive car at Merc) to achieve your goal of “officially” winning a record breaking 8th WDC. At this point there’s no way of knowing if in your remaining seasons you will have a competitive enough car that will allow you the opportunity to compete for that 8th title. Should you experience some difficult periods during that pursuit here’s a thought from which you can derive a measure of comfort. Whether or not they are willing to acknowledge it, every knowledgeable F1 fan and person who is associated with the sport knows that by the official FIA rules the 2021 Abu Dhabi GP should have ended under safety car conditions; that therefore you were the actual, legitimate winner of the race (and deservedly so, given that you had dominated it) and of a record breaking 8th WDC. We all know that by the most devious, despicable, disgraceful, illicitly manufactured act ever committed in a major sports event, various parties conspired to illegally steal that 8th title from you. Recordings of that race will undoubtedly persist well into the future. So, even 100 years from now it will still be obvious to anyone who watches a recording of it that by the official FIA rules you were the actual, deserving winner of that race and the 2021 WDC. With such obvious, enduring evidence I believe that sometime in the future (perhaps even after our lifetime) those who are officially responsible for keeping F1 statistics and records will consist of a decent lot who are free of racism and bigotry…and will finally act to right this most disgraceful blight in F1’s history and officially restore the race win and 2021 WDC to the rightful, legitimate winner, Lewis Hamilton. Regardless, your fans and all unbiased fair-minded people know that in reality you are already an 8 time WDC.

    Finally, I would like to thank you for your advocacy. Not enough celebrities are willing to risk attracting controversy by using their platform to advocate for meaningful causes such as racial and gender equality and civil rights. Being a wildlife biologist, I’m especially appreciative of your environmental advocacy.

    Best of luck Lewis and I sincerely hope that you get that “official” 8th title.

Last year for our anniversary, I gifted him tickets to the Spanish Grand Prix next weekend after we came out to the Vegas intro. This would be his FIRST F1 race experience and I am hoping to make it as memorable as possible.
