Sir,
Your strength of mind, body and spirit along with your (obvious) commitment to excellence are exciting to behold; however, your commitment to helping others is more inspirational.
God is love…
Hi Lewis. Awesome start to the season showing some real skill, grit and determination. How do you keep the hunger ..?!
It’s my daughters 18th birthday on 8th April and I wondered, knowing how much you value family, if you’d send her a message wishing her happy birthday??? ??.
We can’t wait to come and watch you live again and show you some love. Lockdown has been tough and this will be her second time stuck inside for a birthday!
Thank you
Take care
Tobias
Dear Lewis: What an awesome start of the season. I was so happy to see you win yesterday. I have watched the closing episode of season 3 (Drive to Survive) over and over. You using your success platform to bring change is beyond admirable. I am Andrea Weitzner, from Mexico and just yesterday, 4 cops KILLED A DARK SKIN WOMAN THE SAME WAY GEORGE FLOYD WAS KILLED, By EXCESSIVE USE OF POLICE FORCE. This happened in TULUM; MEXICO YESTERDAY, March 28,2021. There will be no justice if someone does not raise his voice. Please, look at the video, and please, please, don’t let her death go unnoticed.
Thank you and again, you are an amazing driver but even a more amazingly kind and decent human being.

Hi Lewis. Your passion and emotion are inspirational. I have to cut this short as I am about to chase you in Gran Turismo GT, Dragons Tail Seaside. I am 66 years young. I am a racer. You’re never too old to fly. Take care. I will be watching. So, I will see you on the track, even though it’s a sim. Cheers and good luck.

Hey Lewis,
love from India. I really think that you should not sign your contract with Mercedes for 2021 because they are going to lose due to the financial rules for 2021
bro sign ur contract
Hello, Sir Lewis. I wanted to message you and ask to tell you about a few things I have been thinking about lately. How has life been? You turned 36 just a few days ago which seems so old but you definitely don’t look like it! You started your F1 career when I was in kindergarten, which is the first level of school in America where I’m from. Now, I am in college. It’s crazy to think you have been racing for almost my whole life. I am an 18 year old black man from Fayetteville, North Carolina. And the role you have played in my life has been so astronomically big. You changed my life in so many ways you could never imagine. I am so beyond grateful that I have been able to follow you on this journey to see you transcend to never before seen levels of dominance in this sport. I’ve met some incredible people through supporting you. And though I have never been to a race, I have still showed my support to you through many other ways. Going back to what I said about how I have met some incredible people through you, I wanted to talk about those people for a second. I have met some other fans of yours through various social media sites, mainly twitter. We talk about F1 stuff pretty much everyday. I mean we’ve spent so many hours going through stats about your career, etc. And through our support for you, we’ve became really good friends. But lately, some of them have been a little worried. We are all extremely passionate about supporting you and some of those people have been very concerned about your current contract situation. Some of them believe that things right now are not looking too good between yourself and the higher ups in the team. I have always been under the impression that you and the team understand each other very much and when the time is right, things that need to happen will happen. But they seem to think that there is a real disconnect between you and the team. I understand completely that the intricacies of your contractual negotiations are none of my business at all, but I would just like a little bit of closure if that is ok. Are things between you and the team really not looking good right now? I know that you are an amazing driver and person and you and Toto in particular have always been open with each other. I really do love you Lewis, and I don’t want to believe the rumors the media puts out making you and Mercedes look bad. But as more and more time passes without a contract being signed and more and more rumors start to come out, the more worried I get. Once again, I love you and thank you for everything you have done for me in my life, Sir Lewis.
Sean
Dear Mr. Hamilton,
My family has 37,000 acres of land in the State of Mato Grosso (Legal Amazon) in Brazil.
It has been preserved since 1975 but we are not able to keep investing and we’d like to sell it.
It is an area of great interest as an environmental asset, next to the two indigenous reserves.
I would like to ask if you have any interest in this as an ambiental investment. If so, I can send you more information.
Thanks for your time,
Marcos Alexandre
Happy New Year and Merry Christmas dear Sir Lewis!

Happy New Year Dear Sr Lewis!
I finally won International Rotax Max Challenge Trophy 2020!
Wish you all the best in next year!

Dear Lewis,
my name is Diana and i am from Bulgaria. My husband Stoyko and I are big fans of you. We admire your devotion, passion and perfectionism in everything you do. You are just the best!
I write to you to ask you for a big favour. I’d like to surprise Stoyko with a video-greeting for the Cristmas holidays, sent by you. My initial idea was to ask you about such a surprise for his birthday as this year he turned 44 (your racing car number). Unfortunately i failed. I believe this must be the most emotional and unforgettable present ever!
I really hope that you will receive my letter and grant my request.
P.S. Congratulations for the 7th world cup and stay safe!
Best wishes,
Diana
Dear Lewis!
Of all the years, this was certainly the most intense of all. More challenges, more obstacles, more feelings. However, in the last weeks of the year, I would like to register my gratitude to you, who with all the messages of hope and strength, helped me to finish the year and to deal with my mental health in a lighter way. I am a young researcher who is starting her career in science (I started three years ago) and that during the pandemic I questioned my ability, had my self-confidence shaken and saw my life turn upside down as the anxiety hammered my mind. Your words and your motto “Still I rise” resonated with me in the moment I needed it most and I simply held those words in my heart and continued to walk keeping in mind that I would rise as many times as it took to fulfill my dream of making a difference. Thank you for always opening your golden heart and welcoming each person with your words of light. It may not seem like much, but it illuminated my path in a moment that I no longer believed in hope. Congratulations for all your achievements, you deserve each one of them always.
With much love,
Camila.
Thanks Lewis for being a inspiration that black fathers matter. Black boys rock, black men rock and black dads rock .
Rick
Congrats on the 7th heaven title.
Hi Lewis, first of all I’m very happy that you won the race also against COVID-19, you are a real life Champ. The main reason of this massage is to inform you that in this moment in India there is happening the largest protest of human history and after months of peaceful protest now from few weeks the people have decided to surround the capital (New Delhi) in these cold days while sleeping on the roads at the night . It took place after the government passed new bills on agriculture system and let the farmers more vulnerable to the private corporate industry’s. The bad thing is that nobody is talking about it and it can’t be a thing to ignore as these laws affect like 400 million farmers in the first place (that’s why it’s the largest protest of human history). Neither the national media nor the international ones are speaking about it and it’s a shame for everyone us as we all live thanks to what these people produce. I follow you obviously for the amazing driver and champion you are but also for the inspiration you give the other people and that’s why I wrote you this massage because people have to know the truth.
Your sincere fan Tarundeep Singh
Hi Lewis,
Really hope you read this message, I’m not into social media because of all the negativity it brings so just hoping to share my sentiments with you the only way I can.
First and foremost it was so reassuring to hear yesterday that you were beginning to feel great again and have fought the Covid Virus successfully and are aiming to get to Abu Dhabi, such a relief as you are a game changer every time you’re on the track and your presence was missed greatly last week for the 2nd race in Bahrain.
From us as a family we just wanted to let you know how much support and admiration we have for everything you have done to be the successful spectacular formula 1 driver that you are and the victorious anti racism campaigns you have fought. We are so proud of you and have watched you achieve nothing but consistent success since 2007, coincidentally the same year that we had our daughter. Soon to be thirteen and now more than ever her eyes are wide open to the world we live in and as a mixed race girl she has already faced some challenges and discrimination but is becoming a stronger person and focusing greatly on her education with a strong determination of reaching the best grades she needs to give her the best start in life. Thank you for the inspiration you bring to all the children of colour imparticulary. Unfortunately, the world is still not treating everyone equally so 100% YES to ‘Still I Rise’ and a massive congratulations on your knighthood, the 1st mixed race F1 driver. What a skill set you have, an amazing gifted man you are and thank you to your beautiful mum and dad for raising you with such grace and dignity.
Good luck with Abu Dhabi on the Yas Marina Circuit, we’ll be watching and supporting you over the next few days as always and forever ??????
Hi Lewis,
I have watched nearly all of your Formula 1 races since I fell in love with Formula 1 around 11/12 years ago. I played a lot of football when I was younger but as I hit my 30’s I didn’t seem to have the same enthusiasm for Football as I did Formula 1, and I think you are part of that reason. I would love for my son or daughters to give it a try, in fact he recently said he would so I need genuinely need to figure that one out. Anyway, I cheer you on every single race and I hope you are back next weekend even though I loved seeing George battle it out with Botas, and he won in my opinion regardless. In spite of all that I wondered if you would consider checking out my business site. In particular I would draw you to the about us page. I appreciate your time.
Much love,
David

Hi Lewis hope you are feeling better. Strange to think you’ll be watching the race like the rest of us. Tips: Get all your snacks ready, setup your timing screens, take a comfort break. Sit back and enjoy!
Hi Lewis, first, congratulations on your ammazing achivements, at last, you have proved to be the gratest driver, ever, My name is Derek Vizor, I am an industrial designer, cabinet maker and inventor. I have National Design Diploma and a Member of The Society Of Industrial Designers. My reason for trying to contact you is because I know you are very interested and concern about the environement. I have an invention that would solve the worlds energy problem producing NO polution whatsoever, the power sorce is free so would be ideal for under developed countries. the power sorce is simple and inexpensive, again ideal for underdeveloped countries. This one idea could solve all the worlds energy problems and polution problems in one fell swoop. I have spent the last 2 years proving the viability of the idea. I would much apreciat your oppinion of what I am doing. yours sincearly Derek Vizor NDD. MSID
Dear Brother Lewis and all brothers and sisters of the L.H. Motorsport Ltd.,
I’m sorry to barge in unannounced but the situation is quite urgent and we are quite sure that your help can solve it in the best way for everyone. And before any further, I like to heartily thank you in the name of all African Peoples worldwide and all African people in Brazil for your support to the incendiary protests against Carrefour and structural racism in Brazil. Your name is written in the sands of time. We truly believe that the ultimate Brazilian Revolution is underway and you will be forever remembered for your contribution to our Struggle.
My name is Vovô (which in Brazilian means “Grandpa”) and I founded the Bloco Afro Ilê Aiyê back in 1974 with a couple of other revolutionary brothers and sisters. The Bloco Afro Ilê Aiyê started a major cultural revolution in Brazil igniting the foundation of many other similar Anti-racist Organizations, such as the Olodum, which Spike Lee made world-famous through the videoclip he produced with Michael Jackson (They Don’t Really Care About Us) in Salvador, Bahia, Brazil.
Our Bloco Afro has been in the Revolutionary Struggle for 45 years now, but it is currently in a very bad situation, due to many reasons, all of which were severely aggravated by the present political situation in Brazil and further worsened by the COVID pandemic, and that’s why we are appealing to the international community to help us with a fund-raising in order to keep our headquarters and to continue our numerous activities (social work, elementary school, professional training, dance company, band & orchestra, arts school, and so much more).
I hereby reach out to our great brother Lewis Hamilton, one of the most important African revolutionaries of our times, to humbly ask him to post in his social media asking his fans to help us financially. We need indeed a lot of funds to continue with our activities, but if we reach hundreds of thousands of people to donate a little bit of money, we can certainly win this! Especially if we manage to get donations from strong currencies such as Dollar and Euros, which would make it a lot easier to achieve the amount needed, since what is a lot of money in our currency is not that much money in Dollars ou Euros. We have already launched several campaigns, but we reached unfortunately a small number of people, far from enough for our goals, making us still unable to forward our activities and still running the risk of losing our headquarters.
I write you here first to see if Brother Lewis would be able to help us out, and in case of a positive answer, I could send you the material of the last campaign, for his appreciation, so he changes, adds or removes whatever he wants in order to relaunch the campaign through his social media (and through the social media of other brothers and sisters, whom Lewis might be able to bring on board).
I heartily appreciate it if any of the brothers and sisters in the Lewis Hamilton Motorsport Ltd. can manage to carry this message all the way to our beloved Brother Lewis. I put myself at your disposal to discuss the details of the campaign and how Brother Lewis can help out, and to discuss anything that any of you might find necessary to make the decision of helping and start organizing the campaign. We can remain in touch through email, through WhatsApp or Telegram, through video-calls and skype-calls or whatever means that would better suit you. I hope we can win this one together, and that the Bloco Afro Ilê Aiyê can somehow help Brother Lewis back in the near future. Of course, we are fully willing to advertise for Lewis Hamilton, and to use his help in this campaign as publicity in any way he pleases.
One destiny! Black Power!
Sincerely,
Vovô do Ilê

P.S.: exert of Wikipedia’s page about us…
“Ilê Aiyê was responsible for a huge Cultural Revolution in Brazil. It is often mentioned that in Salvador, before the founding of Ilê Aiyê (in 1974!), Black men and women would never wear colorful dresses, would often not enter through the front door, would not wear hairstyles, and Black women would not use lipstick – all because of long-standing racist stigmatizations. This situation has been thoroughly changed for many Afro-Brazilians thanks to the empowerment processes that Ilê Aiyê implemented through Music and through the praise of African Culture and History.”

Aww, there’s just not enough of you to go around. I read a message from a boy who wants to play a computer game with you. How do you say you don’t have the time? Or how do you make the time? Someone needs to explain to him. It can’t be easy.
Hope you are ok, just read you are not well, wishing you a speedy recovery!
I have a small request, same as millions of others,
I would like my partner to meet Lewis Hamilton.(you)
His name is LB and he is not really impressed or excitable about much. However he adores Lewis Hamilton.(you)
LB spends a lot of his time doing for others and in a way neglects himself.
He provides for others, loves to bring joy and always gives 200% percent when helping others.
LB just likes to see people happy.
He is a great father, a great step dad, he supports his mother, and sisters in huge meaningful ways and always tries to extend benefits to his loved ones even if it’s sharing his access to his Spotify or Netflix account.
LB does not ask for a lot and I would love him to meet Lewis or have a personalised message.
Words would not describe the the joy it would bring to me for him to have that experience just imagine how Levi would feel. An Unforgettable Birthday present!
All I ask is that you please make sure Lewis hears this request.
I want him to read this and decide for himself what he would like to do.
Best Regards
Zxx (they are not kisses btw way)
I’m not one to post any kind of public comment, especially when it comes to people but I must say; you sir, are quite the human being and I’m proud to have you as a countryman. Your talent as a racing driver is impeccable and your use of the stage the talent has given you access to is amazing. You are great for the sport and for humanity.
I’m lost for words. Don’t change, keep being you. Show us all nothing is impossible.
Hello Lewis Hamilton, my name is Bobby Binnie and I’m pretty sure you remember me, I’m not sure if you are on this fansite but I’ve written several letters to you I posted on twitter, you haven’t read them yet, but my dad doesn’t work for Mercedes anymore and also COVID has prevented me from seeing you, I’ve seen you 8 times and you told me you were in Call Of Duty. Please remember me.

Hi Lewis champ! About the Roscoe vegan diet… One of my frenchies who’s 7 years old has breathing problems, he had 2 surgeries on it already and it keeps coming back. This breathing problem doesn’t allow him to have the exercise and the normal life he had before, sometimes it’s too bad he can’t eat, because he vomits everything out. Ok i don’t want to keep you reading this for too long so, Is the diet vegan for dog food specifically or vegan food as human diet? Can you send me his diet or something like that please!!! It would be huge help. If you want I can send a picture of my boy too… he’s amazing and just too cute?? thanks in advance lewis, hope you enjoy the championship and the time with your family and Roscoe!
Dear Mr. Hamilton
Until 2018, I don’t believe I had watched an F1 race since Jackie Stewart was driving. (yes I’m that old)
Then my best friend played episode one of the Netflix series and I was hooked.
We now watch every practice, quali, and race on tape delay.
I wanted to relate to you how thrilled we are for your 7th championship, and are continually amazed at the things you are able to do with that machine.
We are planning a trip to Texas for the 2021 race. Hope we get to meet.

Hi Lewis
So proud of your tremendous talent and achievement on the track- the most successful F1 driver ever, but also of the time you give to promote equality and fairness in your sport and outside your sport. Like Marcus Rashford it’s so amazing the time you are willing to devote to the cause when your life is so busy on the track and on the field, but it’s a shame we are still talking about this in 2020. I am 64 and my friend and I (she’s 67) she is widowed and I am divorced, and we are fans of F1 and we love watching you win, and one day hope we can come and see you live. We have both had a brief trip to Monaco though a few years ago which we loved. We love to watch every race on tv. I’ve never been to a grand prix and can imagine how exciting it is. Just watching on tv is nerve racking! Thank you for all you do, your are a lovely person and I’m sure your family must be incredibly proud of you. PS I love Roscoe your gorgeous dog. Good luck for your next race and thank you for all you do. You will make a difference. Best Wishes Gill
Dear Mr Lewis,
I’m sorry to contact you but I don’t know how to get an quick message to Mr Hamilton.
I have worked with a lady (Mandy) for 14 years and two week’s ago sister (Sarah), who she lives with, was suddenly taken ill and to cut a long story short, has ended up having to have her entire large bowel removed. She is currently very poorly with sepsis and in intensive care. Mandy and her older sister (Tracy) cannot visit due to Covid regulations although they were called in at 3am on Tuesday as she took a turn for the worst. She did rally a little and although she cannot speak they know she can hear them as when Mandy told her that Lewis had won the Turkish GP and was now a seven times World Champion she tried to smile and did squeeze her hand. They are all great F1 fans and did go to the British Grand Prix a few years ago which made me very jealous! Sarah installed Sky so they can watch all the races in full.
I am trying to contact Lewis in the hope that he would be prepared to record a short message that they could play to Sarah just to give her a boost. I know he has many calls on his time so understand if this is not possible.
I must explain that I am not very IT literate so I am not on Facebook or any of the other platforms which would probably make this request easier to grant. Mandy or Tracy may be though. If anyone knows how to get this message onto other platforms that Lewis may read that would be great.
If a member of Lewis’ team does read this and he can help please contact me on the email supplied.
Thank you in anticipation of your help.
Yours sincerely,
Jane Gladman
Congratulations Lewis!

Racist attack on Lewis’ profile at our ‘Great Black Briton’, exhibition.
Lewis Hamilton was one of 18 profiles of prominant black people in our lives in the ‘Great Black Briton’ exhibition at Christchurch, Hitchin held through-out the summer and into Black History Month. Profiles included Lewis, Marcus Rashford, Lenny Henry, Strictly stars Carla Amfo and Nicoal Adams, Stormzy among many others to include historical figures.
Every single face was spray painted with black paint near the end of October, and the police are investigating.
Hi Lewis Hamilton I am a kid and a big fan of yours and I love watching your races and you are a good sportyour the best at f1 and always will be
Charlie
Dear Lewis
My son used to race karts at Buckmore Park. He had a few races with Jensen Button. You were just coming on the scene when he left, but he remembers you as standing out and showing unusual promise. He’s watched your progress and successes with delight ever since.
This message is really to draw your attention to the email I’ve just sent on behalf of BDS. I support the Palestinians in their cause, and know that as someone who is involved in the Black Lives Matter movement, you would be sympathetic to BDS latest campaign to get Puma to divest from the Israeli Football Association, who are implicated in furthering the illegal activities of the Israeli government against Palestinians. Indeed, the Palestinian Speed Sisters, the first all woman race care team in the Middle East, describe how they are hampered at every turn by Israeli strictures.
I do hope you will take time to read some of those emails coming to you and be able to support the cause.
Many thanks and regards
Jane Clare
Dear Lewis,
I know you are a strong environmental campaigner and a recent post you put up about beach litter and corporate plastic really got my attention. I work at one of the UKs most iconic, and thus busiest beaches – Durdle Door in Dorset, and wanted to know if you would like to help us out with a coastal awareness campaign in 2021? 2020 was beyond imaginable in terms of litter and other associated problems. It wouldn’t take much of your time and would help us no end!
Hope to hear from you.
Kindest regards
Derek
You have fought honestly, faced many difficulties, overcome numerous obstacles. You never gave up and through a path that was not always favorable, you managed to achieve the well-deserved professional success. Congratulations!
No one else you deserve to be living in this moment. You are an example of how persisting pays off, as well as being competent and professional. Know that I admire you in all aspects of your life, and I wish you all the happiness in the world.
You are an example to follow and you are helping me to go through a difficult period emotionally because I was feeling defeated and watching your interviews and your victories I see that it is possible yes, and I will continue … Thank you !!!

Hi Lewis Hamilton & Team,
I am contacting you to see if you would like to deliver a very short presentation either through Zoom/MS Teams or in person to discuss the importance of diversity in the F1 workplace and the range of careers within F1 that our students could explore.
Working in a Careers Guidance team in one of the largest colleges in London, we regularly provide careers guidance to students from a very diverse multi-cultural background, and I feel it’s important for them to know what sorts of jobs they could do, and aspire to do during their education and career journeys.
Admittedly I am Lewis Mercedes F1 fan, so I watch every race. But genuinely I most look forward to the key messages you deliver pre and post-race about BLM and diversity. These messages are extremely powerful, and I always think how amazing it would be if you could share this passion and drive with our students about increasing diversity in F1, and what sorts of careers our students could aim for.
As an ambassador for equality, and an Icon for sport, it would be brilliant if you could spare a few minutes for our students.
I look forward to hearing from you.
Kindest regards.

Hi Lewis,
Congratulations to 93 Grand Prix victories!!! ???? You’re fantastic! I’m also very glad that Mercedes-AMG Petronas won another fantastic season!? Please continue to be such a wonderful person and thank you for supporting Black Lives Matter. Our world needs people like you to stop racism! Never stop believing in yourself and never give up!
Best wishes,
Ciaron
P.S.: I hope Daniel Ricciardo didn’t have smelly feet when you drank from his shoe!!! ?????
Can I reassure Gabriel Andrea Walker that I a, not trying to get Lewis to jack in F1 in the middle of the season to buy a farm! I sent the following through which might explain where I was coming from:
HI Gabriel,
Thanks for the recent post and sorry for the delay in replying. Please re-read my comments suggesting farming as a post-retirement idea for Lewis; I’m not expecting him to jump ship in the middle of the season am I, especially as he had the chance (now taken) to overtake Schumacher’s record? As for practising what I preach, fruit and veg growing in a fair sized garden surely does so as do my numerous efforts via various New Scientist & Guardian / Observer letters over the years on the need to improve farming, increase food security and get new blood into it plus this: https://climatecoalition.org/future-food-security-must-focus-on-supplies/ . I’ve even tried to sponsor methane-reducing feed additives (e.g. Asparogopsis taxiformis) on local farms with little success; farmers are VERY conservative here, hence my suggestion of new blood. I’m not criticising Lewis here; you seem to have jumped in prematurely and defended him from criticisms I haven’t made although that does suggest you are a very keen fan. If you want to look at one unbelievable area for improvement check out the IMechE’s “Waste Not Want Not” report (2013 I think) – at least 30% (and often more) of global food production never reaches shops or markets and there are numerous other lunacies e.g. factory & feedlot methods, rabbit diseases, wasting woodpigeons, fishing throwback (until recently) , killing then wasting unprofitable livestock (see the 1998 & 2007 Shetland culls although the former was stopped –
http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/uk/181184.stm and http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/scotland/north_east/7140001.stm), overeating and flattening rainforests for even dafter ideas than cattle feed e.g. coca and colombo-tantalite (see “Blood Coltan”) when they could be carefully utilised in situ – https://www.newscientist.com/letter/mg24032094-400-maybe-we-should-exploit-rainforests-carefully/. By the way “big benefits” was the letters editor fitting the text into the column. I hope this lot is of some interest.
Yell if you want any rhubarb next season though and you’re in the area; we always have some spare. I’m in Whitchurch (Hampshire) and in the phone book.
1 spoon of powdered magnesium took care of my leg cramps when nothing else i tried would work. Congratulations on #92 and the record. I can say I watched it happen.
Maranatha Lewis Hamilton The greatest F1 driver of all time. D. Johnson
Dear Mr, Hamilton,
As an old racing passionate from the 60’s, yet an updated one on today’s F1, sounds corny but I sherish the idea that you would one day race Le Mans with your brother, Nicolas, such a charming warm man.
Personally it would remind me the Rodriguez brothers time, but more important would trigger a huge surprise from the today’s racing world and bring you lots of additional fans, if you need any!
Like writing a new chapter in your legenderay life…
Kind regards
Vincent Mausset

You know what I love about Lewis Hamilton , he is just Lewis, simply but absolutely brilliant, a different class not just as driver but the way he is as a person .
Credit to his parents , and thank you to them for giving us to the privilege to watch him at work and hear him speak, morals , ethics ,integrity , lots of lessons here for the youth of today.
Albert Einstein once said :-
” Try not be be a man of success, but rather try to be a man of value.”
Well , we definitely have something of rare Value in Lewis Hamilton and we should cherish the time
that we can witness his gift.

Dear Lewis,
Many! Many ! Congratulations on your achievement . You well deserved it.
Please carry on your fight against social issues that are happening more and more in this unjust world. Poverty and discriminations in every aspects of human lives should not be happening in this century.
You are an inspiration! Thank you.
92 wins ! greatest
Hello Lewis Hamilton,
I have a special video for you because make a new world record. 92 victories in formula 1. That was amazing. I hope that you see the video that I want to give it to you at my Instagram account @faeez.fk_44
Hello, my dear and beautiful Lewis !!
I’m a big fan of yours and I’ve been supporting you since 2007, when you entered F1! My name is Laura Duarte, I’m Brazilian and I have in common with you the fact that I love Ayrton Senna – I even support the same team as our three-time champion! I think you are a wonderful boy !! Do you have any idea how much, dear? Do you know how I mean you to my mom, for example? Brigadeirinho-which is a delicious candy here in Brazil, made with condensed milk and powdered chocolate-which I would love to prepare for you. I tell my mother: “My Brigadeirinho won again!” And she likes you too! I wish you all the best and I am very proud of your achievements on and off the track! Big kiss from a fan who loves you and from Brazil!
Lewis Hamilton, you are our hero of heros, including Nikki and Ayrton! Erin Che Naidoo, Cruz Che Naidoo and Cash Grayson Naidoo. ALL GLORY BE TO THERE O’LORD AMEN!
Dear Lewis Hamilton,
I am from the Netherlands and I have to do a presentation for English at school about a famous English person.
For me it was not really difficult to choose someone. I love Formula 1 and watch every single session, so I wanted to do my presentation about an English Formula 1 driver.
I thought about Lando Norris, George Russel and you.
I had to make the choice on the Monday after the Grand Prix of the Nürburgring, and when you equalled Michael Schumacher’s 91 race wins, I just had to choose you as driver to tell about.
My question to you is: Can you tell me about how it is to be you, Lewis Hamilton, a six time world-champion.
Are you aiming to beat Michael Schumacher’s record of 6 world-championships, or does this season (which I think you are going to win too) feel the same as the other seasons you have won?
I really hope you will respond to me.
Yours sincerely, Sebastiën
Hello Mr Hamilton, I am 8 years old and would really love to interview you for my school project for Black History Month. Please contact me on my Mummy’s email address. I’ve got my fingers crossed that you’ll be in touch really soon. From Noah
I’m old enough to have seen, with enormous pleasure, the likes of Ascari, Fangio, and Moss racing in the German Grand Prix at the old Nuremburg circuit in 1957. I’ve also seen all the in-between champs like Clark, Stewart, Hunt, Mansell, and of course Lauda, Alonso, Vettel, Schumacher and all the other world champs. In my opinion you are the finest driver ever – the toughest, the fittest, quite simply the best. I wouldn’t mind betting Niki Lauda would have anticipated you beating Schumacher’s record of 7 world titles – so go ahead and do it. Good luck in your quest. I wish you well and thanks for giving this old motor racing fan such enormous pleasure.
All the very best
Malcolm
You are a true champion, you would win even in a slower car !
Dear Lewis, As a follower of your career since your Karting days, I would like to express my sincere congratulations on not only your status as a fine racing driver but also to you as a person of faith, with feeling for others and a gentlemanly approach to both sport and life which seems to me, to be without competition throughout your many interests.
As a well rounded individual in a sport based on largely middle class, masculine and Anglo Saxon principles, you have brought to the track an influence which will change it’s history for the better. I applaud you and hope that your career in all forms goes from strength to strength and encourages others from all walks of life and society to follow you in becoming their own person with the dogged determination to succeed on their own merits and with their individual freedom from self restricting ideas.
A wonderful human being,
May you still rise.
Lewis,
I listened to your bucket list- ‘climb Everest, go into space etc. ‘If black lives matter (or any lives for that matter) why not make no. 1 on your bucket list to ‘make a difference to someone’s life.’ You have the means to make a difference and it would be far far more rewarding than climbing Everest, I’m sure.

Why don’t you do something about the farming, the foods and the climate, instead of telling Lewis Hamilton what to do.
Iain Climie, you must practice what you preach, instead of telling others to do things.
Lewis Hamilton is currently busy with the Championship weekend, just in case you are lacking in common sense
I. Climie !
Dear Mr. Hamilton,
It may seem a little early to think about your post-F1 life but have you considered following ex-world champion Jodi Scheckter into farming (although he’ll probably tell you the old joke that to make a small fortune in farming, you’d better start with a large one). You have environmental concerns (e.g. about the impact of conventional livestock – e.g. see the 2006 UNFAOP report and Poore & Nemecek’s paper in Science in 2018) but the seemingly obvious approach of reducing demand for meat and dairy can misfire badly; whether it makes sense to reduce cattle & sheep numbers, their impact per head or both, the emphasis needs to be more on supplies that “eat this, not that”. The following two articles show what I mean, and I hope you find them of interest:
https://climatecoalition.org/future-food-security-must-focus-on-supplies/
https://www.ecowatch.com/how-did-farmer-brown-bring-his-dying-land-back-from-the-brink-2609288934.html
A crucial concern here is that food supplies of all types can fail badly but tat gluts don’t work in fee market, as prices crash and reduce farmers’ incomes. To be fair, Mao’s infamous famine in 1958 to 1962 shows planned economies are usually worse but ideas like restoring fish stocks, even if largely as a back up, and reducing obscene levels of global food waste make sense regardless of what the future throws at us.
Best of luck for the rest of the season,
Regards,
Iain Climie

LEWIS HAMILTON you are the Greatest of all time. Lewis Hamilton you are
the Legend. Lewis Hamilton you are
the Best F 1 driver ever !
Best Formula 1 pilot of all time, the Undisputed World Champion, simply The Best.
The Legendary Niki Lauda believed in you and Niki knew that you were The One and you are The One.
Bonafide F1 icon Murray Walker on Lewis Hamilton, ” he’s always driven as clean as a whistle, he’s an extremely nice, gigantically talented driver and I don’t think we’ve seen anyone like him before.”
‘ Murray Walker commentated on the performances of countless greats over the years and is well placed to decide where Hamilton ranks among them. ‘
‘ Mercedes technical director James Allison recently pinpointed Hamilton’s clean racing record as setting him apart from his rivals in the battle to be F1’s greatest ever driver. ‘
p.s. the extracts from some articles are included.
Dear Idol,
I admire that you are engaged in several human causes. I will like to tell you what they (F1 and local scammers) are doing here in Brazil to avoid environment laws and destroy a big peace of natural forest in the middle of Rio de Janeiro, Camboatá with 2.000.000 m2 field. All arguments, of F1, local politicians and investing lobbies are pour, like my English. The whole idea is very dark and will benefit only a few privileged persons that are doing anything above the good sense. I´m very concerned with what THEY are trying to achieve. It is time to join forces in what’s happening with RIo, Amazonia, Pantanal, Minas and make them stop hurting and violating our environment. Sorry bother everyone with my concerns, but our government and rulers are very ambitious, immoral and stupid.
I know this isn´t your fight but in the same way can´t see that the cash and power always winning in courts. They don´t care about anything or anyone and forget that when we leave this world, others stay. Dignity fore all…. including our environment.
Best wishes in your brilliant carrier.
Break them all…
William
Hi Lewis,
My name is Valma James and very proud to know that you are addressing diversity as part of your commitment in facilitating a worldly prospective on economic, social and educational inequalities. I have been challenging inequalities for many years and would like to support your support in raising the profile of your initiative within the community, in which will provide the opportunity for children of African and Caribbean heritage to participate more fully within your profession. I would welcome the opportunity to interview you on AUKRADIO.com about your initiative as part of Black History Month.
I also work with adults with autism at a mental health Hospital Harrow and would welcome an opportunity for you to meet with some of our clients to speak about your career in the motor racing industry, this would build their confidence and self -esteem to hear you speak to them.
I look forward to your response.
Valma James
Hello, my husband is a really big fan of lewis hamilton. I want to get him a fitted hat for Christmas and most of your hats are snap back which he doesn’t like. I like the one with the mercedes symbol to the left and mercedes amg to the right in front. Will you be making this in a fitted hat in the future?
I’m starting a campaign. The International Diversity fund, headlined by BLM heroes. My first of course is Lewis Hamilton. I’m new at this but the site, the Action Network is part of the Obama network, a very reputable place for growing grassroots support. Let’s get this in place for Lewis’s Diversity Commission initiatives.
Hopefully he’ll never figuratively, or literally, stoop that low…
Hey guys I m just an ordinary Lewis Hamilton fan. But what it’s my request and prayers that I want Lewis Hamilton to read what I have written for him in Instagram thorough my account ( Cheema_singh89). It’s very important that’s why I am asking for this. I know no ones going to do anything about my efforts. I don’t want anything from anyone , I just want Lewis Hamilton to read what I have expressed in words for him. And I can promise you he ll be empowered and positive after reading that. Please guys help me and help him out. Just tell him to read. That’s it , nothing else. I just want to see this guy happy and smiling.
hi lewis and fom new zealand a devoted fan who was totally disgusted with the stewards rubbish in russia and without yourself in the running …formula one as a race makes little sense in watching and are sick of all the so called competitors dictating any reasonable race at all and words fail me that i can organise on here but you are truely the real deal
Whilst Lewis Hamilton is a great F1 driver, it is easy for him because he has the best car.I do not think he would win has many has he has if he was driving for mclaren, lotus, williams etc.Plus he should never be knighted while he lives as a tax exile.Just my opinion.
LH,
I look forward to your continued growth as a champion of human rights. When can we purchase copies of your shirts demanding freedom for the Uighur of China? Rohingya and Karen of Myanmar? Or Equal rights and protections for women and LGBTQ in the Emirates, Turkey, or Malaysia? Or perhaps one demanding the arrest of security forces who come to your country and kill Russian dissidents? Thank God we have someone like you to speak up for ALL human rights!!
Free the Uighurs.
I have been a massive fan from way back to your go,carting days.
I have also spent substantial amount of money on various official merchandise
Over the years.
So I feel I am entitled to my comments
Which I hope will be taken as constructive criticism.
I have been alarmed at the sudden turnaround in the opinion of the general
Public towards Lewis.
Here in Scotland his popularity has nose-dived and Social media comments are displaying a deep dislike of Lewis.
This is as a reaction to Lewis,s recent
Views on the race issues that have been
Prominent in politics and news worldwide for the past couple of months.
The George Floyed, Black lived matter movement in particular.
Why cant Lewis see that as long as hes
On the payroll of a company with very strong Nazi as connections, a previous poster boy being Adolf Hitler, people will
See his anti, racism views as utter hypocrisy.
And that’s one thing even his biggest fans have trouble dealing with.
The nazis literally wrote the book on
Persecuting, and terrorising other races
And nationalities that didnt fit thier narrative.
The worst the world has ever witnessed.
Open ur eyes Lewis , if u maintain this serious contradiction the public will turn against you.
Very concearned fan
W.Hill
Lewis, this latest revelation of Brianna’s legacy is appalling.
I know this is an unpopular request, but I suggest you withdraw from the Russian GP this weekend, as a protest against the unjustifiable actions in Louisville.
A message has to be sent, and you are the man to do it.
Don’t get me wrong, I have been a fan of yours since you first hit the news extolling your prowess, and I will continue. But your voice carries strength and impact.
Your choice.
Best of luck in the future (hell, you’ve got this year’s Championship in the bag …:)

Kisses.
Dear Mr. Hamilton,
I just saw the photo of you in the Breonna Taylor shirt, and I give thanks to God. Just as I did when I read about Colin Kaepernick taking a knee several years ago. These are such important matters – and have been all my life since I first marched in the Civil Rights movement as a child (I write as a 72 year old white American nun in an Anglican order in Oxford). Recently I have been reading a great book for white folk such as myself – “Waking Up White”, by Debby Irving. If white people expect you to teach them how to stop being racist, you might suggest they read this book instead; it’s an eye opener, and teaches us to see racism, in our society and in ourselves, in a direct, understanding way. It’s not up to Black people to stop racism. From my perspective, it’s up to us to listen, learn, empathize, apologize – things that seem so difficult these days (especially in my poor beleaguered country….). Bless you, Mr. Hamilton; I’m glad you’re such a good racing driver, but I’m even more glad to know that you’re such a good, courageous human being, willing to stand up for the truth.
Given these times, I’m worried that you may get hate mail; I just wanted to make sure you get some love mail. I will hold you in my prayer (along with Mr. Kaepernick and others)
In gratefulness and blessing,
Sr. Helen
Hi Lewis, Black Lives Matter and it’s fantastic what people like you and for example Naomi Osaka are doing.
I’m an old guy, 72, white with a black wife and 2 children. I haven’t seen any white people saying BLM, yes in F1 they do bend the knee but your the only one saying something. We need the support of the white people and we need to get them motivated. It’s fantastic what people like you and Naomi are doing but you have to be backed up by tens of thousands of white people to make the breakthrough.
This has been going on my entire adult life and I rather thought it was done and dusted when the USA abandoned their version of apartheid in the 70’s, but of course it was just swept under the carpet.
We need a slogan to capture white people because BLM doesn’t do it, obviously and if BLM matters, which it does of course, we have to capture the opposition because we already have the friends.
With kindest regards
Ian Bradwell
I am a resident of Louisville Kentucky. I have experienced all of the BLM / Taylor riots, protest, and destruction of the protest. Where is your stand for helping all the people that went out of business got hurt lost their jobs over this? It has been over 90 days of protest violent and peaceful. The officers involved should have a day in court, not convicted by social pressure.
Lewis,
Your talent and commitment to F1 is inspirational. Your commitment to BLM is phenomenal beyond words. What you are doing for the average black person and ultimately for everyone (white and black) parallels Mandela’s fight for non-racism, equality and justice.
I wish you all the strength to continue this battle.

Hi Lewis Hamilton,
Honestly I am a fan but my dad is why I’m writing this message to you he is crazy about you (he even bought your calendar). As you probably know not all dads are sentimental and if they are they try to hide it well my dad is like that with your life story he’s read Lewis Hamilton: full story, Lewis Hamilton: my story etc and even though he tries to hide it i can see the tears in his eyes as he has been through a past I don’t even know yet as he doesn’t like to share much but I can tell you he loves a good story so maybe you won’t even get to this message but I just really hope he gets a chance to meet you in person (instead of the reruns on TV) so it can give him almost like a boost to life (and I may even become his favourite child ha ha)

Dear Mr Hamilton,
I hope this letter finds you well. Congratulations on your continued success in this year’s Formula 1 Championship.
I am writing to further congratulate you on being awarded the Number 1 spot on this year’s Powerlist.
The Powerlist is an annual publication that celebrates 100 of the UK’s most influential people of African, African Caribbean and African American heritage who are either British or living in the UK. The Number 1 award is to signify the most influential black person in the UK for a specific year.
As an award, it is by far the most prestigious of its kind in the UK and is decided on by an independent judging panel, which is chaired by Dame Linda Dobbs, Britain’s only ever black High Court Judge.
Past Number 1s include: Tidjane Thiam, ex CEO of Prudential and Credit Suisse Bank; Sir David Adjaye, the internationally renowned architect; Sir Damon Buffini, the private equity guru; Baroness Scotland, when she was the UK Attorney General; Gina Miller, businesswoman and highly influential Brexit campaigner; Sir Ken Olisa, Lord Lieutenant of London; and Ric Lewis, founder of Britain’s most successful black-owned business. You will be the first sportsman to be named Number 1.
Sponsored by JP Morgan, PwC and Linklaters, this is our 15th year of publishing the magazine, which we send out free to schools and colleges across the country as a role model guide for young black people.
The judging panel, all of whom are influential black people themselves, unanimously chose you as Number 1 this year because of the incredibly brave and selfless efforts you have been involved with in highlighting the need for more diversity in Formula 1, championing the Black Lives Matter cause and launching the Hamilton Commission. They also commented on the dignity with which you have carried yourself in doing so. The fact that you have achieved this while continuing to prove on the track that you are the best Formula 1 driver in history, is all the more remarkable.
If you are able to accept this award, we have just two asks of you:
Normally we host a prestigious dinner, The Powerlist Black Excellence Awards, to celebrate and launch the Powerlist publication. It is the crowning glory of Black History Month in October with more than 300 guests. Over the years, it has been attended by Prime Ministers Gordon Brown, David Cameron and Theresa May, as well as Sadiq Khan, London’s Mayor.
We were scheduled to be at the Savoy, this year. However, the Covid-19 crisis has forced us to think differently and we are hosting a virtual event instead, which means we are able to stream the event globally for the first time. Would you be able to, at our cost, film an acceptance speech for the virtual awards? It would probably not need to be more than three minutes long.
All our Number 1s do an interview with us for the Powerlist publication. So I would like to ask if you would continue that tradition this year? This could be done at your convenience.
Because this has come out of the blue so to speak, I’m sure you will have a number of questions. Please feel free to have anyone from your team get in touch should you need any clarification.
I have attached an electronic copy of last year’s Powerlist publication as well as a video of last year’s Powerlist Black Excellence Awards dinner for you to get a flavour of what we do.
A copy of the magazine as well as a copy of our graduate title Future Leaders has also been mailed to your management team at Lewis Hamilton Motorsports Ltd, SE1 8HA to give you an insight into our publications so I look forward to hearing from you soon, and, once again, congratulations.
Kind regards

As others, my husband and I are fans, however, less so in recent months. Until recently (and I am 82 and white) I have never had a racist bone in my body but BLM is creating racism. I am amazed at just how much. And your blatant support for criminal activity beggars belief. George Floyd was a convicted criminal and a recidivist. Breonna’s boyfriend, Mr Walker, SHOT a policeman. Are you surprised that they shot back. Of course it was unfortunate that Breonna was shot and killed and it is being investigated but surely you do not want to make any police force impotent! Of course black lives matter, as do all lives. Being forced to kneel down, started by the NFL as a protest against Trump and US politics, makes no sense at all. There is much you could do, with your money, to support many black causes. Why not take a more sensible course and retain your dignity? At the 2011 census, 3% of UK population was black. Why do you, and others, expect there to be 50% representation by only 3% of the population? Does that not seem unjust? One of my two daughters had a black boyfriend when she was young (10). When she was 15 I commented that we had not seen him for some time. She said, “Mummy!! He is a drug dealer now.”. This would be a better way for you to spend your time, assisting with problems which face black people in the UK today, instead of inciting racism. Thank you for ‘listening’. Jane
Hi,
I’m kavi. I didn’t use to watch your races. But one day when my uncle was watching formula 1, I was interested to watch the show. Suddenly when I saw you, my heart just stopped their. I don’t know why, but that made me happy. I think I’m in love with you. I hope you’ll see this.
Love You….
Hi Lewis
This is not a message about your ability as as an F1 driver – which is by a country mile the best that the world has ever seen. You are so far ahead as a F1 driver that any discussion about who has been the best F1 driver of all time is meaningless – it is you by a country mile. Absolutely incredible.
My comments are about you as a person. You are so aware of how important what you stand for is – you are the most incredibly honest and amazing person of integrity and belief that I have ever seen. I have always regarded standing up for what you believe in as being the thing that defines people. You are a beacon for what is right and you demand that people listen. That is an amazing quality. It is something I haven’t seen in many people. Thank you for what you do, what you believe and how wonderfully focussed you are. Never stop saying what you say – you are a remarkable human being who will leave their mark on the world. Thank you for everything that you do. People need to get what you are about – you are incredible. Kind regards, Mike
Dear Mr Hamilton, or his management team.My father will be turning 70 in July 2021 and for one of his presents I was hoping to gather some video messages from his idols/heros wishing him a happy birthday.Obviously due to this message you are one, just like you are for me.I would be grateful for any length of video wishing him a happy birthday as I know it would mean the world to him. Many Thanks,Rebecca H.
Hi Lewis
I have been watching you since you were go-carting, because of you I’m a big fan of F1motor sports. I’m 62 years old Jamaican mother and grand mother. I noticed this week things did not go the way you wanted them to go., but always remember that there is always a next time mistakes do happen but you learn from them. Always remember you are a winner you broke barriers no one else have broken before. You represent our race with dignity and grace. Keep inspiring the young people and stay true to who you are. I hope before I retire and migrate gods willing that I would one day see you race live. God bless you my son??
Mr. Lewis Hamilton,
I’m Brazilian and a true fan of Ayrton, and when I see you breaking his records I feel good. You’ve been done a great work and I hope that you hold all the F1’s records.
Thanks a lot for all yours efforts!
Hey lewis your my idol i am staring race karts i am 9 years old plz contact me your my idol
Yeah Lewis, you could’ve gotten a podium at Monza !!! Restart on Softs, Mediums after penalty. 2007 Canada 13yrs later
Lewis, when I was 15 years old, I was convinced that Jimi Hendrix was from outer space because he was doing things with a guitar that were unbelievable. You do the same with a car!
My suggestion for the blm campaign is not ‘we race as one’ but ‘We are One Race’. Let me know if you agree.
Hello my brother Lewis Hamilton.
My name is João da Paixão Cézar and I am an Afro-descendant, your fan since always, from Brazil.
Today you had a terrible news, the death of our loved Black Panter. I am feeling as I have lost my old brother. I am very sad.
But this week we had another terrible news. The unique Brazilian TV station that show the F1 race here will not show that anymore from 2021. The contract with the organisation will finish this years and will not renewed.
As you must know, Brazil has more than 100 Millions of Afro-descendants. We are the most Afro-descendants community in the world outside of Africa and here YOU ARE KING with your tremendous job and competence. When Airton Senna died, we became orphan of a hero and you have filled that empty for us. If from 2021 the f1 race is not displayed here, 100 Millions of Lewis Hamilton fans will be orphaned again and your glorious job until here will be forgotten.
I am not in the position or in the condition to do anything to solve that big problem, but I thing you should do something. I know you care for the black cause worldwide. Take off the F1 display in Brazil it’s the same as not seeing you and you are extremely important for us, for 100 Millions of Afro-descendants, for 100 Millions of Lewis Hamilton Fans.
Please see what you can do to keep the F1 exhibition here in Brazil in 2021 and beyond.
!00 Millions of Afro-descendants and Lewis Hamilton Fans depend on you.
Please halp us Lewis.
Lewis you just drove like a superhuman to get pole, and then you dedicated it to Chadwick, your mate! You are in a class of your own! Good luck tomorrow mate!
Dear Lewis,
I’m a 63 year old white male from Hertfordshire who together with my wife have been talking to my eleven year old boy about racism and privilege.
My father taught me to treat all with equal respect and that to stay silent is to condone.
It occurred to me that I’m very proud of you, your journey and your commitment to right some major wrongs. I wish you every success with your driving career although I suspect your life achievements may well eclipse those on track.
I’ve ridden Silverstone on my motorcycle and a casual calculation reveals that you would lap me over one lap!
You’re a fine man, drop my boy Gene a line if at all possible.
Best regards,
Kevin
Hi Lewis. Black lives matter and so do all lives. Your my star, I am canadian and 72. Needless to say i am still consumed by F1 and all high performance cars especially FI cars.
My suggestion is simple for me but quite complicated for you but maybe not.
Qualify as pole for your next race. Contact your driver apponents and indicate that the final finish positions on the final lap are as the final lap is begun. Slow your cars and cross the finish line in this order. State that yall drivers have said that black lives matter as do all lives and i feel that an F1 message will far exceed the present efforts of NBA, NHL and likley NFL and actually football all over the world for this necessary cause. Lead as you are doing Lewis, you and your racing teams and drivers can really lead the way to a better future for black lives and all lives in my view. Your sponsors are going to support your driver decisions, frankly they have no obvious other options, without your driver skills, they will struggle and likley fail. Allan
Hi my nephew William is a super Lewis Hamilton fan! He’s deaf and mute and has Learning disabilities..but he adores F1 and his face lights up at watching Lewis on the track! Your amazing and have brought such joy into his world ..thank you!!!!
If there is any way of getting a signed postcard he would be absolutely over the moon
Kind regards Karen
Hi Lewis
While I do agree with you that Black Lives Do actually matter, I am more a follower of Martin Luther King in that I judge by the content of a person’s character rather than the colour of their skin. May I respectfully suggest that you research the BLM organisation and its aims. The address below could be a starting point for such research.

Thank you for your time.

Are you for real??? It’s sheer poetry on wheels man and it’s getting better and better. What is your trick. Please reveal the secret so I can use to my own benefit. Lots and lots of love and good wishes for the whole team.
Hello Lewis,
My husband has recently had a diagnosis of terminal cancer. Prior to this, last year for his birthday my son and daughter bought him tickets to attend the British brand price which of course no one could attend. He had a cap and shirt especially to wear, but couldnt. He has been following your career since the start. He has a whiteboard with all the face dates on it and religiously watches the qua!trying round and each race. You are his hero, not just for your racing skills but also your principles and behaviour and dignity. He has been so upset not to have fulfilled his ambition to watch you face live. Is it possible for him to receive a signed picture?
Thank you in anticipation!
Dear Lewis, I’m a great fan of F1 and you’ve been my favorite driver, I believe you’re the best driver in F1 history and will break virtually every record in the record book.
But I believe you’re being misguided on your support for Black Lives Matter. They are a Marxist (communist) group having nothing to do with making the lives of blacks better. People from this Marxist group have been rioting, looting, vandalizing and even killing others here in America and like an insidious cancer, are spreading to Europe. These are not nice people, they’re thugs. Lending your name, support and prestige to this group is a benefit to these racists. I hope you will take the time to research just who they are.
My second suggestion, get rid of your “End Racism” signs. If all it took
Was a sign we could plaster “End
War” and have world peace and harmony. It only inflames people, it does Not end racism. As long as people are different there will be racism. Ignore it and don’t allow yourself to be used as a pawn in the game of “Divide and Conquer”.
Best wishes today in Barcelona and congratulations on your 92nd pole. Well done.

[Animals, Environment, Referendum for the animals, France]
Hi Lewis,
I am contacting you because in France, where I live, a great pro-animal initiative has been launched: https://referendumpourlesanimaux.fr/
This “referendum for the animals”, in such a conservative country as France, is a historical occasion to make things change and is backed by 500 000 citizens (and counting), very prominent figures (the list is on the site) as well as 130 members of the French parliament (we need more).
How about having YOUR public support to convince many more members of parliament and voters to back it ? I know you are a very effective pro-animal advocate, your help could be pivotal !
In short, this is a French referendum about abolishing circuses with wild animals, fur farms, animal experimentation whenever an alternative exists, abolishing industrial animal agriculture, abolishing cages.
These 6 pro-animal measures need 185 members of the French parliament to be put to vote (we currently have 130 supports) and afterwards a few million votes from the general public.
I hope you do read my message and can get back to me !
All the best !
Enrico
Hi, Lewis:
I hope you, your family, friends and team members are well. My name is Natalia Bueno and I’m from Medellín, Colombia. Thanks to my father, who will be 67 this month and has cancer, I’ve been a fan of Formula 1 for 28 years now. (I’m 38). Because of family issues, for about 15 years we could not share the races together. When we could share them again, you were already racing and we both agreed on you as our favorite driver. In 2019 we fulfilled our dream together: we went to the United States Grand Prix and share four days of fantasy. We bought T-shirts and caps from Mercedes; it was a time of a life. Of course, we had to take some extra care because my father started chemotherapy in September 2018.
Over the course of this year, which has been hard on everyone, the intensity of the chemotherapy increased. The oncologist changed the treatment drugs and he has been very sick. He has had a wonderful attitude of overcoming all the time, he has been an example for all of us, but, since the treatment was changed and the symptoms got worse, his mood and attitude has gone to the floor; the same has happened to his wife, his great support.
I have taken the liberty of writing to you and telling you all this because his birthday is on August 29th. I am his only daughter and I need to get his spirit up and get him back to his old attitude: “yes we can, and we will get out of this”, but I haven’t succeed in this effort. I know that you can help me with this, and that is why I am asking you a great favor: a short video message of happy birthday to my father. I know that hearing you will bring his mood back and fight back his cancer. His name is Alvaro Bueno, but we call him Nano. He will be 67 years old, and I have faith that, with your message, he will live many years more. I assure you that I will keep you informed. I am sending you a couple of photos; one is when we were at the grand prix and the other is how he looks right now.
I understand it is difficult because of your agenda, and especially now that you are running and leading the stands, but I think that short message can have a big impact on my father’s attitude to fight cancer, especially after the last race, where you win overcoming the problem with your front left wheel: it is an example of how a winning attitude can overcome any difficulty. By the way, I love the new color of the car, your helmet and the message you pushed for all the teams to support it, simply spectacular.
Thanks infinitely for reading my message and I hope with all the faith in the world that my father can have your message.
Natalia Bueno.

Hi Lewis
I’m working on BHM 2020 for the Hertfordshire community and one of the themes for this year is successful/inspiring BAME individuals from the local area. It would be great if you were able to contribute an article, podcast, short interview etc.

I know that he wishes to one day be able to see you race and possibly meet you in person. I am too is a fan and i have read articles that you have been giving your fans from all over the world surprises and rare chance to meet you.
If by any chance you read this, please find it in your kind heart to reply and send a message back for my son, Ralph.

Hi Lewis, my name is lance I love watching you I just won my first gokart race, I want to meat you one day if you could see me race one day please answer me back.
Hi, mr Hamilton.
I hope all is fine with you.
You seem to be a man of faith, love and family and I really hope you could help me with one thing though I understand your busy schedule.
My husband is turning 30 in september and are a hugh fan of you and F1. He is a wonderful and loving man that does everything for me and our daughters (2y/o and 6months old). He truly deserves The best and has always dreamed of seeing a F1-race IRL. I saved for a year and arrenged for him to finally pursue his dream. In september he was supposed to go to from Sweden to Italy and Monza for the whole weekend and see you race. Then Covid-19 arrived and everything was cancelled and moved to next year. Now I am standing with The most awesome birthday present to The man I love The most, but for next year and had nothing this year. The money are frozen for the trip which means that I in no way can buy something equaly as good to give him this year. Would you like to help me do something Great anyway? Maybe a greeting from you where you announce next years gift would be as near equally cool as The gift itself possible?
Crossing my fingers for your attention
Kindest regards
Hanna

Hello. I am enquiring about a possible video chat with Lewis Hamilton. This is for my dad who sadly has cancer that can’t be treated. My dad has always been such a huge F1 fan and has always been on team Lewis. He absolutely loves Lewis Hamilton and over the years I have got him many signed things from Lewis. Would there be anyway what so ever to have just even a minute on a video chat with him for my dad. This truly would be the best gift he could have.
Charity help request.
I am hoping Lewis would help in my project raising funds for the mental health charity Mind. I have launched the sale of a photobook with all profits going to Mind. I have some celebrity signings (eg Stephen Fry plus rugby internationals) but looking to sell LH signed copies for more.
Mental health is a huge issue now but fund raising has collapsed. His help would be hugely appreciated. I live near Mercedes Brackley so could easily come in, or could send ‘book-plates’ to be signed (A4 labels).
See my website for details of project, all the images and to buy the book.
I love you Lewis and I’ll stand up for you through the hardest times so don’t listen to what those people are saying about hating you because you have done nothing wrong can you please text me through Instagram mine is jayhiscock2006 and can you help me sort out something for both me and my friend of which it is our b day soon and we really want to go to the British grande prix I love you don’t ever change and keep on thrashing ferrari p.s I love your bulldog vids on social media he looks a lot better than my lazy pig downstairs

hi Lewis my email is jettn@maristschool.co.nz please can you send me a picture of you or a autograph my name is jett im 10 years old and i live in new zealand
Hello Lewis, glad to see you heading the drivers championship again, looking forward to your 7th and 8th…
I’m a total fan of yours and I pray you read this.
Firstly you’ve worked too hard and for too long to let black lives matter piggy ride on you and turn you to their lackey? Yes the fight against racism is real, but you should have done it with your name only, and on your own terms.
The BLM movement has a lot of baggage you don’t need to carry, and when that shit hits the fan, all the ambassadors would get hit. You could have said the same things, and created the same awareness without attaching yourself as an ambassador for an organization you didn’t create and have no real control over. You’re giving your name and hard work to things/ people that you have no say over, who instead could control you.
Secondly, you’re being goaded by ill meaning friends to go on this vicious and unwarranted attacks on anyone who makes a contrary statement or something in formula 1.
You need to live and let live. This alienation strategy you’re following will lead to a very bitter place. One of your most beautiful characteristics is the way you’ve always showed respect to the legends of the sport. Max doesn’t have that, he came with talkdowns and disrespect especially towards you, and will definitely reap that down the line.
Don’t follow that route, that’s not what got u the admiration and respect you have around the world. Calling people ignorant and uneducated is belittling and unnecessary. You’re doing more harm than good. You’ll achieve more if u reached out in friendliness than the way you’re going about it.
Thirdly, you’re not going to solve the problem of racism singlehandedly, you’ve started a good thing, but it should be a long term project, not an ‘all at once or else’ thing.
Now the post race news is all about who you’re insulting next, rather than the brilliance of your driving. If Nikki were alive and he had a public contrary View to yours on this matter, would u Insult him too? Would you then be better for it?.
Step away from people who are pushing and pulling you along this very negative route. They seek to rebrand you and erase all the love all races have for you, You need to stop and steer your own ship.
The Hamilton foundation is a good initiative, get a think tank to figure out how formula 1 can do more to be inclusive, get university students to brainstorm on the way forward. Present your findings to the F1A and work to see a change, focus on your foundation and do all you can there, but whatever you do stop the constant whining and complaining about how white and racist formula 1 is. Yes you don’t use those exact words, but that’s what it sounds like.
Don’t take the knee at every race, stand sometimes, in solidarity with those who want to end racism but are not members of the black lives matter movement. Sometimes, Wear the T-shirt that says end racism. Meet people halfway, rather than insisting there’s only 1 way. Appreciate the little they’re doing, rather than making it look like it all doesn’t matter until they take that knee. I’ve heard u say it doesn’t matter whether they stand or kneel, but your body language says otherwise.
I hope u get to read this, I wish you the absolute best. I tried and searched for a way to make this a private message but your couldn’t find a way to send it.
Nobody deserves a knighthood better than you, but jealousy and meanness is holding that up. But still you rise.
Hi Lewis I just want to give yoy my uptmost support for what you are doing for anti racism I grew up in Ladywood Birmingham West Midlands I also went to cardinal newman school in Birmingham I have an Irish descent background and like a lot of Irish we had a lot of racism against ourselves in the seventies because of the pub bombings. I feel that formula one should do a lot more to fight against racism because it does look like it doesn’t do enough and it has such a worldwide audience that oeope would certainly look at what it says and look at that and maybe get more influenced and look at racism throughout the world the only way to fight against iris by education in schools because with educating these people we will erradicate this disease please keep on fighting this cause Lewis because you being such a well respecter sportsman you can help re-educate these uneducated bigots keep fighting lewLeand I hope you defend you world championship again for as many years as you possibly can . Stephen Roberts
I’m a long time fan. I have particularly respected your humility for many years. But I am genuinely concerned by some of your recent comments since the inexcusable death of George Floyd by a small group of criminals who happened to be members of a police force that should have rooted them out long ago.
Absolutely agree that racism must be eliminated. No question whatsoever But as a dual citizen living in the US please understand that taking a knee is NOT the same as being anti-racist. Not even close. The great Dr King would indeed have been at odds with the anti- any race other than African-American dogma of the BLM Organization. So please consider refraining from criticising other drivers who likely share your goals yet elect to act in other ways. It detracts from the more important message and looks petty.
You have expressed concern about U.K. history from 350 or so years ago when some Africans were enslaved and thereby denied all civil and legal rights and treated as third class citizens (women of any color or race were the second class citizens at the time). Yet you seem to have no similar concerns about the only 80 years ago conduct of your sponsor Hugo Boss and indeed your Mercedes team. How can you possibly reconcile your recent comments while promoting the company that made uniforms for the SS and working for an entity that exploited Jews, gypsies, LGBTQ as slave labour far more recently ? These victims, in their millions, were not just enslaved, but summarily tortured, experimented on and ultimately simply murdered. These businesses were no fans of people of color either! I do not recall you even once speaking out against anti-semitism when you applauded the removal of a relatively obscure statue from Bristol. Surely an element of hypocrisy there?
You do not live in a multi-racial community or even in a multi-racial country. You could learn a lot by actually living in the country where you were raised or anywhere else with a wonderful mix of different races and cultures. And while government finances are depleted because of the virus, the social programs that are so desperately underfunded in Black communities would really benefit if you were tax resident in the U.K. to help.
Finally, please consider that, during the BLM marches and riots in Chicago, police resources were spread so thin that urban communities had no patrols at times. Something like 18 innocent people of color were murdered in just one day. Two dozen in one weekend. Scores of others shot. Horrific, record statistics. And there have been many more deaths and horrific injuries across this country as a result of the BLM protests. Not to mention the increased spread of a virus that disproportionately kills people of color. The sad truth is that most African Americans who are unlawfully killed are murdered not by the police but by other African America males. It has been this way for decades. If role models like yourself spent as much time urging people of color to respect the police, not to protest or hold street parties during a pandemic, and attacking rioting and gang violence, plus ensuring young African Americans receive a proper education when so many do not, then perhaps you could actually make a difference and save some lives.
Thank you.
Nigel Jacques
Lewis,
You are a credit to the sport and the human race. Watching you develop and mature over the years has been an inspiration. Keep on keeping on, stay safe and relish every moment of your gifted life.
All the best mate.
Dear Lewis, I’ve been a fan of yours for years and like everyone else with a heart was horrified by the manner of the death of George Floyd , but please investigate the Black live Matter organisation before you continue to support them. They are a marxist group that wishes to destroy the family unit, do away with normal male-female relationships, destroy capitalism, defund the police and several other weird aims that I can’t believe you approve of. Are you aware of this? Do you agree with these aims? Please check out the behaviour of the British BLM leader Sasha, she’s dangerous. Please PLEASE investigate BLM.
Hi Lewis we’re in our 70s and have followed F1 for years. One day we saw this bonny, humble, enthusiastic, motivated, ambitious, exceptionally talented young man and his dad. We were blown away. So down to earth and just ordinary British guys. We’ve followed you ever since and it made us even more proud to be British. BLACK didn’t even come into it. You could have been sky blue pink with yellow spots on! Are you black or white or biracial? So your dad is black and your mum white but it’s your sheer skill and determination that most people see. I am so sad that you’re getting political now. A black man was murdered in America by a white police officer and that was disgusting. However white police officers are murdered by black men, white policemen are murdered by white men and black men and white men are murdered all over the world. All lives matter Lewis and yes racism goes on. It is getting better but slowly and its rife in every single country in the world. Slavery also was and is still going on. Read your history and go back thousands of years. Blacks in Africa rounded up black tribes for gain to enable the slave trade. The Egyptians, the Romans, the Chinese, the japenese, the Indians, the Germans throughout the words history. You could use your high profile to help educate the world population. We have friends who happen to have black skin and some of their beliefs and culture are very different but we also have a lot in common. I believe Britain is trying hard so please don’t be so political and concentrate on your next world title. Good luck
Hi Mr Hamilton,
Ferrari / Italiani don’t need to kneel to prove they are not racists!
Maybe you out of ignorance, or maybe because you are always around having fun on the track, or maybe you are enjoying your money around the world as a rich man who will NOT KNOW, OR DOES NOT EVEN, THAT WE DO NOT NEED TO DO BEAUTIFUL ONLY WHEN SOMETHING UGLY HAPPENS AS IN AMERICA TO THAT POOR MAN KILLED, AS ALL DAYS FOR TENS AND TENS OF YEARS WE WELCOME HUNDREDS AND THOUSANDS OF CLANDESTINES (AND NOT ALL GOOD AND GOOD!) AT OUR EXPENSES AND SELLING HEALTH CARE, CLANDEDTINI THAT NO ONE IN EUROPE WANTS, NOT EVEN HIS COUNTRY THAT HAS SEEN GOOD TO EXIT FROM THE EU TO LESS THE PROBLEM OF IRREGULAR IMMIGRANTS.
A REAL INVASION OF ITALY!
EVEN TODAY AT THE TIME OF COVID, THEY ARE ALREADY SICK IN A COUNTRY THAT HAS BORDERS CLOSED BUT NOT FOR THEM!
PERSONALLY I HAVE NEVER SEEN YOU HERE TO GIVE A HAND, DRESSED IN BLACK MAYBE!
I HAVE NEVER HEARD THAT YOU HAVE MADE MONEY TO THE ITALIANS FOR IMMIGRANTS OR HAVE MADE CONGRATULATIONS FOR THE WORK AND THE HELP GIVEN TO THESE PEOPLE BUT, I DISAPPOINTLY KNOW THAT YOU KNOW ONLY WHAT HAPPENS IN THE BOX AND ON THE TRACK.
YOU THINK OF IT TWICE BEFORE TALKING, LOOK WELL AROUND, AND DO NOT BEAUTIFUL ONLY ON BIG OCCASIONS, BECAUSE WE HAVE DONE ALL THE DAYS HERE!
Best regards from Italy
Have fun on the track
AND ALWAYS: FORZA FERRARI!
Best
Marco
Hello Lewis, see the scene repeating itself in Brazil … White policeman stepping on the neck of a black woman …https://g1.globo.com/sp/sao-paulo/noticia/2020/07/13/doria-diz-que-imagens-de-violencia-policial-contra-mulher-negra-em-parelheiros-causam-repulsa-e-condena-conduta-de-pms.ghtml
hi lewis I think you are a wonderful person.for what you do for the younger people is wonderful.just to let you know I would stand bye you and say black life matters.it doze not matter where you come from we should all be able to live the way we want to
F1 boycotted South Africa during apartheid as did most other sports (sadly not all and F1 a little late).
What did the boycott achieve?
It showed the people of South Africa that the world cared and it showed the Government, their behaviour was unacceptable.
It didn’t end apartheid, but it helped.
Taking a knee is a public display that racism is unacceptable and Black Lives Matter. It is a stain on F1 that 6 drivers chose not to make that display.
To the fools who criticised Lewis for taking a knee, of course all lives matter, that’s a given. Unfortunately some fools need a reminder that Black Lives Matter AS WELL.
I hope to see ALL F1 drivers take a knee before every GP and any driver not willing to show support, you face a very awkward discussion with your grandchildren in the future.
I have to say I have developed a great deal of respect for you and your fight against racism. As a single mum to 3 biracial sons, 1 of which is crazy about F1 he’s 11 now and has been crazy about it since age 5. His dream is to be an f1 driver but he has so much going against him , financial and his ethnicity. As a mum you want your kids dreams to come true and I tell my kids they have the power to succeed at anything they put their minds to but reality is getting into f1 is extremely difficult even for a white person and he feels saddened that the colour of his skin could effect his future. He’s such a great kid, hardworking at school, very bright, god fearing, respectful, kind, cheerful with the cheekiest smile and loved by all his peers. He has a determination though that I hope and pray will help him achieve all he sets out to do. He has never seen the colour of his skin as a problem before until the tragic recent events and all the news of BLM, He has always been proud of his roots and the colour of his skin. He deeply admires all you are doing to stand against racism and to want more diversity in f1 too. Maybe one day with all your hard work he might be racing in f1 too. So please keep up the fight and the awareness, as people are listening, people are talking more and more about racism and they are being educated to something they often felt didn’t exist. I pray that one day everyone can be as equals. God willing ?? Well done Lewis don’t listen to any haters, keep getting your voice heard x
We have been fans for a long time Lewis but you have now lost that. Your “taking a knee” was totally inappropriate. You are a privileged human…part of the HUMAN race. This BLM group are a dangerous Marxist group…go and look at their website!!! The only one we should kneel too is God almighty. You could do so much for far better and more worthy causes than this one that seeks to tear our world down. And you my friend is one they will come after. You have so disappointed so many fans…we are gutted.
I agree…
I like the majority of sane people believe in ending all discrimination but I also believe ALL LIVES MATTER regardless of race, religion, ethnic group, nationality, colour, sex or sexual orientation.
To say BLM is racist, to say ALL LIVES MATTER is not.
Read the BLM webpage then decide if you agree with their policies.
Who will Lewis call if his home is burgled or his family is harmed or threatened, will he expect a defunded police force to turn up – oh there wont be one if BLM has their way, so who will there be????
You become a hatemonger. I was your big fan, I’m not anymore. Aren’t you afraid that karma will find you, somewhere in the corner at 250? I don’t wish you anything bad of course, but don’t be racist towards whites. Because a lot of black people misinterpret!! your clenched fist.
Motosport fan
Lewis
How dare you!
I have supported you throughout your career, and never seen the colour of your skin…in my eyes you were simply a fantastic British driver.
You are now an extremely successful, and rich individual, who has built his career upon the support we as British supporters of formula one have provided.
You are extremely talented, and thoroughly deserve the riches your success has afforded you…but how dare you ridicule others, who do not have a racist bone in there body, to somehow suggest that refusing to ‘take a knee’ is somehow disrespectful?
I am not going to try and disrespect your growth to world champion, as many are trying to do! But rest assured, after your recent comments, I will never again consider you to be an ambassador for the uk in motor sport!
Taking a knee is a symbolic statement brought about by politicians in support of organisations like BLM. I would greatly appreciate you taking a look at the BLM website, and there agenda. As a lifelong fan of yours, I would love to hear your opinion on where this Marxist organisation wants to take this world.
Why couldn’t you just remain the extremely talented icon we all adored? Unless you can convince me otherwise of your agenda, I will never support you again!
Lewis I have no doubt that you will NOT read this but I think someone needs to tell you how hypocritical you are being about slavery.
It isn’t just the black race that have suffered from slavery, if you look back at the HISTORY OF THE COMPANY YOU WORK/DRIVE FOR you will see that during the war they admitted to using 40,000 SLAVES in their factories supporting the Nazi party who were the most oppressive political regime of modern times.
The Nazis differed from other regimes throughout history which used slave labour. Romans and Greeks, for example, valued and revered their forced labourers while the Nazis treated them with immense cruelty using slave labourers like cattle, to be worked to death.
Daimler, which owns Mercedes, admitted as far back as 1986 that it had employed 40,000 forced labourers under appalling conditions during the war enabling it to reap massive profits.
I know this isn’t black history and so is probably of no interest to you but do a little bit of research (there is lots available on the internet) before posing as holier than though about matters that you obviously have no knowledge.
I for one will no longer follow you or your sport any more until you recognise that yours is not the only race, religion, ethnic group, nationality, colour, sex, sexual orientation or group of people who fell they are not treated equally.
I like the majority of sane people believe in ending all discrimination but I also believe ALL LIVES MATTER regardless of race, religion, ethnic group, nationality, colour, sex or sexual orientation.
To say BLM is racist, to say ALL LIVES MATTER is not.
Stop looking down from your prestigious and pampered lifestyle and acting like A DUMB SHEEP LIKE THE PROFESSIONAL FOOTBALLERS AND START THINKING FOR YOURSELF.
Further information about nazis and slavery is available at https://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-2663635/Revealed-How-Nazis-helped-German-companies-Bosch-Mercedes-Deutsche-Bank-VW-VERY-rich-using-slave-labor.html if you choose to read it.
Bonjour Lewis,
this has been years since i followed F1,,since Villeneuve has quit the Sport and i wonder how techno has evolved in the “helmet world” ?

je ne sais pas si vous allez me repondre but i am trying,,,,,,maybe you will !
Have a good season ,the best for you and “have fun”
thanks,Merci
Gef
I have been a loyal fan since Lewis was racing, I followed your career and always supported you.
Unfortunately now you think the English people think you are a racism when you don’t even live in England and it saddens me.
I was a great fan of Michael scumhaker and I hope you will beat his record.
White lies matter just as much and am very sorry I cannot suppprt you any more and hope bottas wins this year.
I don’t suppose I will get a reply.
Hi I would like to get in contact with Mr Hamilton with reference to a private matter about Animal liberation. It is about a book I have written and I need to check legally I am ok saying what I have said and also I would love him to read it and write a review for it as it is about content that would interest him. I have sent an email to the team address. The book is with the publisher so I am hoping for a speedy response if possible. I want to use my platform to help the innocent and I admire Mr Hamilton for the way he uses his. I really hope you reply and can help me. Thank you.
my friend lewis
I’m sending you this message to make you realise where are we going in this era of over politics
I know you have at heart good intention about fighting racism as a black man myself I understand that
I respect what you did since day once in F1
but there’s something you can’t end and this is racism don’t jump into the hype van specially with black lives matter they are using you for their own interest and worse they really don’t care about black people to start with
mostly black lives matter hates successful blacks like you
if they really cared like they said they with try to raise the black community
up to now outside rioting threatning people and mostly act with pure hatred and racism against non blacks they did nothing
don’t fall into the white supremacie thing because you are the proof that white supremacy doesn’t exist if it was the case you’d never reach such a level of achievement if it was the case you wouldn’t have a chance to get where you were right now
the killing of blacks by cops aren’t that high as the media tried to show you george floyd was the 2nd or 3rd one this year so far last year 9 has been killed the number of black killed by cops is falling
strangely in the CHAZ 4 black has been killed by the CHAZ «police» or the rioters who took over the place where black lives matter should matter but they were the only victims
you talked about inclusivity in F1 by saying there’s no blacks outside yourself in F1
as a driver it’s true you’re the only one don’t forget that willy t ribbs tested a brabham back in 86 and he has been invited by bernie ecclestone
there’s blacks who work in F1 I see it many times over the years
don’t mix inclusivity and well deserved place once again you are the proof that you can reach F1 being black and you have a lot of talent to back this up
I don’t want to see blacks or women in F1 for the sake of inclusivity with no skills to justify their presence
so just focus about racing forget the politics it’s dead weight in your career and want you to end your career just like you started
I know you are pretty busy with racing wich I couldn’t wait any longer!
do what you can do best : WINNING!
do it for your fans friends and family
take care of yourself and I wish to see you in person
Hi Lewis. Good luck in the upcoming season. Wish you all the best. I was wondering if you could do something about the Chinese Grand Prix. Due to draconian laws passed by the Chinese government I was wondering if you could speak out about it or possibly trying to get the race suspended indefinitely. I realize that large corporate sums are involved, but with the new awareness finally taking hold around the world I feel it’s the right time for change no matter what the Color of your skin is. Thanks for taking the time to read this and warmest regards

HI
Cannot find a contact link off the Lewis website so have sent email here.
I have to say that appaling as slavery is there are many facets and the piece below is here to put another facet into the dark and lamentable crime as described by lewis.
Slavery of Africans by Africans
Various societies in Africa and Asia enslaved prisoners of war. Slavery was also widely practiced amongst the Indians in the Northwest Coast and Eastern Woodlands of the United States, as well as on the islands in the Caribbean Sea. Lynn H. Nelson, from the Department of History of Kansas University, noted that African complicity was an integral part of the African slave trade.
“It is difficult to determine when slavery became an important economic factor in African history. Certainly African enslaved each other from an early date; this is a common feature of most societies pursuing an agriculture based on manual labor. By about 900 A.D., however, a regular slave-trade had developed between the Niger River valley and the Muslims of Spain. With Negroes brought from West Africa and Slavs from Russia, the Spanish Muslim capital of Cordoba became one of the greatest slave-markets in the world. With the decline of Muslim Spain, this bulk of this trade shifted to East Africa. By this time, some peoples of Africa had come to depend upon the slave trade, and Zanzibar had become the great slave emporium. Wars between African tribes were not fought to kill, but to take prisoners who could be exchanged with Arab slave-traders for imported goods. It has been estimated that 25% of the slaves taken out of Africa ended up in Muslim lands. Even more important, this centuries-old trade had rooted the institution in the African economy and had established the general pattern of that trade.”[25]
Zayde Antrim has also pointed out that African slavery was in existence well before the arrival of the Europeans.
“Not only was slavery an established institution in West Africa before European traders arrived, but Africans were also involved in a trans-Saharan trade in slaves along these routes. African rulers and merchants were thus able to tap into preexisting methods and networks of enslavement to supply European demand for slaves. Enslavement was most often a byproduct of local warfare, kidnapping, or the manipulation of religious and judicial institutions. Military, political, and religious authority within West Africa determined who controlled access to the Atlantic slave trade. And some African elites, such as those in the Dahomey and Ashanti empires, took advantage of this control and used it to their profit by enslaving and selling other Africans to European traders.”[26]
Hugh Thomas in his book on the history of Slavery, The Slave Trade, has detailed the African involvement in the production of victims for slavery. African monarchs often bought slaves from dealers, in order to sell them again to Europeans, to other Africans, or to Arabs especially. The rulers of Benin, the kings of Ashanti, Congo, and Dahomey; and the Vili rulers of Loango, sold great numbers of slaves over many generations. Jean Barbot, who was on a slave ship during the 17th century said “the slaves [whom the African monarchs] possess and sell are prisoners of war, or, if from among themselves, are condemned to slavery for some crime. But there are also those who have been kidnapped by their compatriots, these being mainly children…”. The Muslims in Africa also had a heavy interest in the slave trade. Hugh Thomas noted that the Muslims traded their African slaves to many countries, selling them as far off as Java and India in the Middle Ages; and even to the Chinese.[27]
Richard Hellie in Slavery in Russia 1450-1725 says,
“In Africa down to the 1930’s, the various tribes continued to raid one another to capture slaves both for domestic use and to sell to outsiders. Moreover, in spite of the picture presented in Alex Haley’s Roots, white slave traders almost never entered the interior in pursuit of prey but rather purchased their cargo from Africans at the ocean front; coastal Africans would not allow Europeans either into or through their own countries …some scholars claimed that slavery in Africa was a response to the international slave trade, but it is now obvious that (Black) slavery was an old domestic institution that was adapted for supplying the international market when it developed.” [28]
Hellie’s view was echoed by Thomas Jackson in American Renaissance.
“Among the Tuareg of the southern Sahara, during the 19th century 70-90% of the population were probably slaves. In the Sahel and the savannah, half the population might be slaves, while in the forests the figure could be as low as 10 to 20 percent. Professor Oliver in “The African Experience” argues that the European and American demand for slaves may not have increased the supply. White slave traders almost never ventured into the interior and were dependent on a varying supply over which they had no control. They followed the flow of captives rather than create it, shifting their bases up and down the coast according to where tribal wars were producing the most slaves. Africa clung to slavery long after it was abolished elsewhere. Between the world wars, Liberia, founded by freed American slaves, was censured by the League of Nations for practising slavery.” [29]
An article from the Mel Fisher Maritime Heritage Society in Florida shows how widespread slavery was at that time.
“At the dawn of the transatlantic trade, slavery was not new, nor were Africans the only people to be enslaved. Slavery is mentioned in the Bible, and most ancient societies including Egypt, China, India, Mexico, Peru and Greece made use of slave labor. Slaves were usually prisoners of war, conquered peoples, debtors or criminals. In Europe, the Roman Empire took slaves from every nation it overcame, including England, France, Spain and Germany. Slavery persisted in the Mediterranean Basin throughout the 17th century.
The institution of slavery was present in Africa long before the arrival of Europeans on its shores – slaves had been taken from parts of the continent since the time of ancient Egypt. In the early 19th century, caravans of 18,000 to 20,000 black Africans were brought to Cairo for resale, and slaves of every color were sold in the great markets of North Africa, even as late as the first part of the 20th century.
…By 1650, most of the coastal states in Europe had possessions in the Americas. The Spaniards dominated Central America, the Dutch and Portuguese colonized in Brazil, and the English and the French had settlements primarily in the West Indies and North America. All of these countries eventually imported slaves from Africa to support their American colonies. European royalty, nobility and leading merchants were the principal supporters and benefactors of the slave trade.”[30]
The Economist admitted that the British, French, Spanish and Portuguese were not the only people involved in the African slave trade.
“In Africa, slavery was accepted as the norm in most societies. Before Europeans arrived, and long after, millions of Africans were marched north across the desert by Arab traders. Most had been taken in war. The guns given in exchange helped wars to multiply and grow larger. Prisoners who might earlier have been absorbed into the victor’s army or workforce, or killed, were now fed to European and American ships seeking human cargo, from Gambia round to Mozambique. Other Africans were sold as slaves because they owed a debt; some even by their own families. Some, like Equiano, were simply grabbed; though only in the early years by Europeans, because that upset relations with the African coastal kings, who wanted to keep control of the trade.”
“Between the mid-15th century and the late 19th, 12m Africans, about a third of them women, made that voyage. Whites had found a new world, and needed blacks to exploit it. Seized – by other blacks, not whites – force-marched to the coast carrying ivory or copper, then inspected like animals, sold and crammed into ships, they made the 30-40-day voyage chained and forced to lie in their own ordure and vomit. Then taken out, inspected again and resold, they were branded and forced to dig in mines, clear land, plant and harvest sugar.”
“Gradually in the 18th century an anti-slavery lobby built up in Europe, notably in Britain, the superpower of the seas. In 1772 Lord Mansfield, a judge, ruled that a runaway slave there could not be forced back by his master to the West Indies. The ruling was interpreted (questionably, but this was the effect) as confirming that there could be no slavery in Britain. In America, it created fears that Britain might try to abolish slavery in its colonies. The desire to maintain slavery was not the least motive for the American war of independence, in which some blacks fought on the British side. In 1807 Britain banned the slave trade, and began using its navy to stop it. But slavery itself did not end in the British Caribbean until 1838, in the United States (in practice) 1865, in Spanish-owned Cuba 1886, in Brazil 1888. The memory of slavery and its lasting social effects sour race relations in Europe and America to this day.”[31]

Hey Lewis, i know this page is managed for you and that theres no doubt thousands of messages to you most probably daily and that you yourself will not ever see this but why not msg you.
Firstly i hope you have kept well and have good prep for the new season and hope you have an awesome opener when we get underway.
Also wanted to share that i was lucky enough to win and A45 the other week and has become my dream car (that i could potentially afford at some point in my life) Since i drove one at MB world. I was living in dreamland and was going to invite you to get away from your hectic lifestyle and get back to just hanging out with an average Joe and i guess a normal family life , since you have now moved on from that due to your talent and devoted father and family. Truely inspirational! I live 20mins away from Snetterton and was going to invite you to show me how to drive the new car I have won. Now you can see why i’m living in dreamland but hey why not? What a story to tell the grandkids when i get old lol.
I guess there are many fans that would give an arm and a leg just to hang out with you but would also splash it across social media, which i would understand but totally does not respect you and your privacy which no matter how famous you are, still fully deserve.
Im also intrested in you and your personality away from what everyone see in the news and social media. Notting Hill (the film) always makes me think this and how the famous are behind social media and the news. I guess this is why i had those thoughts and am living in dreamland.
Anyway, all the best. Hope Roscoe is doing well, you gave Coco the best life she could ever have hoped for. Keep safe and keep that positive energy spreading throughout the world. Im routing for you and cannot wait for the season to begin.
Team LH will smash it this year and bring home a record equalling world championship!
Thanks for reading if you did.
Regards Dean
Hi I was wondering if it would be possible for a photo of Lewis to put on a floral tribute I am having made for my brother who was one of your greatest fans. He had a severe heart condition and was given only months to live but unfortunately 4weeks later he passed away.
He was a fantastic brother who at 58years has passed too soon.
I want my tribute to show his passion for you Mr Hamilton as you and your racing team
I am one of your fans and believe that you are currently one of the best drivers.
Lewis as a dog dad I’d like to say sorry for your loss. We love are dog children. Good luck this season and have a great Juneteenth day .Peace! J.R.MAZURE .USA.
Hi, Mr Hamilton how can the poorer people in life get to see or meet you. Seems like once people are rich and famous the people who watched and supported them fall into categories of least contact and importance. I not surprised by this, just wondering how it happens with all famous NOW people. I’m sure I’m not alone in my years of following your career. The good and bad time without faltering, but only those and such as those get close. I will continue my adoration for you and your amazing ability, which I’m sure will surpass your predecessor and cement your place as the GREATEST ever F1 Driver before the sport is forced into demise.
Stephen cole
Lewis I have a question for you. You have stated that all statues relating to the history in Great Britain that have even the slightest connection with slavery be torn down. Why then do you work for a company that during WW2 used hundreds of thousands of Jewish slaves to build war machines for Hitler. I personally have nothing against these company’s at these facts are History. Something that cannot be changed. So why is it ok to provoke race hatred in the UK by demanding statues be torn down in the name of BLM, yet earn huge wages from a company built on slavery?. That is very hypocritical. And no doubt you have lost a huge amount of respect from your British fans. After comments like that, many veterans who follow you will now turn our backs on you and Mercedes. You are a sports man and mentor to so many young kids of all races. Yes BLM but so do all other lives no matter there skin colour. To say BLM is racist, to say all lives matter is not.
Dear Lewis

Good afternoon Lewis!
Hoping that testing went well for you today! I’m a racing enthusiast and an aspiring amateur driver.
My question is, what advice would you give for providing a cost-effective means for underprivileged kids to have an opportunity to participate in learning racing and motorsport?
Good luck with your first race in Austria in July champ hammer time at last
Dear Mr Hamilton,
Whist not a particular fan of F1, I have been continually impressed by the great role model you are to all. That you share the experiences of a minority group within this country and that you have risen above the casual (and no doubt sometime deliberate) racism that all majorities endure, only adds to the quality of you example.
As a 64 year old middle England (white) family (with no particular skills ? it is heartening to see your example and I can only applaud it and thank you for the extremely positive messages and example to you continually provide to UK society; something we all benefit from (even for those who are unaware of your good example).
Please accept my heart felt thanks,
Best wishes,
Stephen.
p.s. I really hope you win this year.. ? … although I know for many you are already the ‘goat’ ?
Hi Lewis, While your stance on racism is admirable there is something bigger than all of us going on. The riots are a PSYOP funded by globalists inc George Soros . The globalists have taken over 99 % of the mainstream news. Get informed, stay safe.
Dear Lewis, I am a big Fan of you. It would be a great honour for me to meet you one in your F1 car 🙂

Hi Lewis,
I hope you are well and enjoying your, “unplanned vacation” in 2020. A dear friend of our family, Alex, was in a terrible automobile accident this May, 2020. He was driving his Miata and was injured severely in a head on collision (head trauma, fractured neck, pelvis, both femurs, and much more).
Anyway, he is a top Mercedes Benz Tech in Devon, Pennsylvania, USA and is a big F1 fan of yours and the Mercedes Petronas F1 Team. After many operations he headed for a long and painful rehab now and I thought if there was something you could do to lift his spirits that would be much appreciated.
I love what you are doing for the overall good of the world and especially the animals. I know you receive hundreds of these type of requests, but I thought I would try to help lift the spirits of a good friend and his family.
Be safe, drive fast/smart and good luck on your quest for your 7th World Championship!

Hi my name is mark and I’m a big fan.
I’ve recently started a GT SPORT racing community with a you tube channel. I was just wondering whether you would fancy sponsoring the channel to help our little community grow. We are not asking for any money just maybe a message we could include on our channel that would help raise awareness of our racing family. And of course your more than welcome to join in if you ever feel like it.
Cheers
Mark

Hiya Lewis, my older brother called Billy is a really big fan of you and formula 1. On the 26th March 2020 he’s turning 21. I was hoping if you could say happy birthday on that day. Please can you get back to me and I will require some information as to how my brother can receive this from you. This will mean a lot to him. Thank you, Emily.
Hi Lewis, hope this message finds you well.
As a surprise 60th Birthday present for my partner, I’ve booked him weekend tickets to see the British Grand Prix in July 2020. For several years he’s sat avidly watching every race willing you to win from his comfy armchair in the living room, whilst muttering under his breath ‘I’d love to watch him race live one day’ gave me the inspiration to actually do it for his special birthday! To top the icing on the cake ‘pardon the pun’ ? it would be great to actually meet you in person If that’s possible, please can you advise how I would go about arranging this?
Kind Regards
Elaine
